I especially love lunch dates when the weather is gorgeous and you can enjoy your meal al fresco.
I met up with two of my former coworkers, Ryan and Ashley, at Caffé Ritazza in downtown Orlando. I enjoyed a yummy salad while we chatted away outside.
My salad included:
- Romaine
- Beets
- Carrots
- Celery
- Cucumber
- Mushrooms
- Broccoli
- Onion
- Salsa
Using salsa as a salad dressing is one of my favorite ways to kick a salad up a notch. Salsa brings a lot of moisture, flavor and yummy nutrients to the table.
When I got back to my desk at work, I snacked on a small baggie of pistachios I packed this morning.
Wedding Hair Piece
Okay you fashion-forward ladies! I need your help.
As you may remember from my post on my wedding day hair and makeup trial, I am planning on wearing a pink flower in my hair on my wedding day.
(The pink flower will replace the yellow one in the above picture.)
My veil will peek out underneath my up-do, just in case you were curious about how that will work. I am wearing this veil I had made by an Etsy designer and am anxiously awaiting its arrival. (It is due on my doorstep on October 22.)
Anyway, I am having some reservations about the pink flower I currently have to wear in my hair.
This is the pink flower I currently have:
I love it, but it’s a little big.
I am considering buying another option…
I think this one is gorgeous:
And this one appeals to me too:
Now I ask you…
Which pink flower hair piece do you like best? The first, second or third flower?
Waheeda says
3 is gorgeous!
Robin says
I like the idea of using a real flower. Every time I’ve seen that done it has added an elegant touch, and it’s not expensive either!
Jessica F says
I like the multiple tones in number 1. If it’s the same size as the green one, I say go for it! But frankly, whatever you choose will look amazing.
Savannah P says
Option two for the win.
Your hair looks gorgeous in that photograph. I almost want to bookmark it to stash away in my wedding idea file! haha.
You are going to be such a beautiful bride!!
Kate @ alittlelikeheaven says
#2 is my favorite! I love how it has the white with it to match the veil. so pretty!
Lindsay says
The first one!!!! Def!
Lauren says
All 3 are beautiful and whichever one you pick, you are going to be drop dead gorgeous so it won’t really matter, but I definitely like number 1 the best. I say, the bigger the better! You have a lot of hair so it shouldn’t overpower your updo.
Steph says
They’re all so beautiful, but I think I’m going to have to go with #3
Either way, you are going to be a beautiful bride!
Annie-Rose says
I like 1 and 2, but it’s hard to tell the size difference! I don’t think you can go wrong, whichever you choose! 🙂
Jessica says
option 2!!
Mary @ Bites and Bliss says
I loveee the 1st one!! All of them are gorgeous but that one really seems to pop 🙂
Ryan Ray says
It was so good to catch up with you today — so I just had to visit the new look of your blog. I love it that we’re all in such good places now! Until the post-wedding lunch…
PS: I may also have to try that meatloaf recipe!
Ilene says
Option two looks the best, but option one is more worth the price 🙂 Good luck choosing!
Jenna says
Def. no to three. Two is the most bridal, but I don’t think one is too big.
sue says
I don’t think you could go wrong with ANY of them!
Morgan @ Healthy Happy Place says
2!
healthyfoodjunkie says
i like #3 the best because it is a bit different but still delicate and feminine–#1 is very pretty two, but no matter what, you’ll be happy and look beautiful on your day :o)
AnneW says
NUMBA ONE!!
celina says
most definitely option 1…it is the most beautifully natural one and i think you being a natural beauty it would suit you perfectly 🙂
why put a fake flower in your hair if it looks fake? you want it to look real!
carlee says
I like 1 and three! however note: i LOVE plain jane stuff so i’m not sure if that went into the option . The colors seem very mellow and I like that. It’s cute and feminine looking.
…ah i just went back and looked at two, and i really like that one as well! haha.
i’d say two or three actually.
Imwaytoobusy says
I love #1, but I have to say #3 reminds me of the shoes you posted. They’d be gorgeous together!
angela says
3
Lisa @ Fit in the Midwest says
I think two is the most bridal and it’s beautiful! Any will look gorgeous in your pretty hairdo.
Running Phoodie says
option 1- it looks the most like a real flower!
Carly says
Option 2!
Katie says
I love love love option 1 – and when else are you going to be able to wear a gorgeous big flower in your hair?! I also love the look of option 1…looks the most “natural”…but #2 is very bridal and classy, too 🙂
natalie says
Option 2. It is very classy and it will look best with the veil….which is beautiful by the way!
caitlinrose says
Option ONE. I’m not sure why 2 is winning so clearly here…I think it would be lovelier to have a flower that looks real, which number 1 does, and number 2 clearly doesn’t…
CJ says
I LOVE option 2. It definitely looks the most classic and elegant.
If you end up sticking with option 1, have you considered maybe pulling/cutting out some of the outside petals to make it smaller? You could also buy mini-pearls at a craft store and sew/glue them in too make it more elegant like option 2.
Kira says
option 2 is sure beautiful but I think option 3 matches your shoes best because of the color and fabric. 🙂
Ashley says
#2 is beautiful! Congratulations- can’t wait to see pictures!
Amy says
Option 1 is my favorite!
Alyssa says
I like #2 the best. Then, I’d say one, then three. 🙂 Good luuck!
Racheal says
I think #2 is the most “wedding” like. The veil is so beautiful!!!
Megs says
I love option two! 🙂
Stephanie says
I love the second one!
Alison says
I like all of them and it’s hard to tell which one looks best without seeing it with your dress! However, I think Option 2 looks the most elegant! I like how Option 1 has a little bit of yellow in it because it makes it more cheerful, and I also like how Option 3 has so many thin layers…it looks so delicate. Whichever option you pick, you can’t go wrong!
Teshon says
I know everyone is a fan of 2 but it looks a little too fake for me. I’m a fan of 3 because the petals have such an airy and romantic look, unless it’s utterly ginormous:) I can’t tell from the pic. Good luck! How nice that you’re down to making hair piece decisions.
Karen says
Can I throw another option into the loop? How about a a beautiful real flower?
Theresa OBrien says
It’s a tie between #1 and #2 for me 🙂 Both are so pretty and classic! LOVE the hairstyle by the way!
Kerry Ann says
I love number two. It has an ethereal look and also follows the delicate look of your shoes.
Kim says
Number one for sure!!
Amie says
I love option 2!! Will go great with your shoes!
bride2be says
I am a new reader and just catching up on your wedding posts..(since I’m getting married this year) which one did you go with? They are all amazing!!
peanutbutterfingers says
