To me, a real Fun Size candy bar would look a little more like this:

That’s what I call a good time!
With Halloween right around the corner, Fun Size treats are popping up all over the office. The treat that surfaced today was a Tootsie Roll pop.
Sign me up!
I love Tootsie Roll pops. They always remind me of that little owl from the commercials.

“How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll pop? Ah one, ah two, a three. <Crunch!> Three!”
Love it.
Not one to forgo candy that’s staring me in the face, I am currently on my third Tootsie Roll pop of the day.
They complement morning snacks, lunch and afternoon snacks quite well. 😉
After my Tootsie Roll pop appetizer, I broke into my lettuceless salad that included a mix of the following:
- Roasted Brussels sprouts
- Red pepper
- Edamame
- Sweet corn
- Feta cheese
- Fresh Portobello mushrooms
- Italian dressing
Alongside the salad, I also enjoyed a baggie of pistachios.
I’ve been loving these nuts ever since I had them during the POM Harvest Tour. I forgot how delicious these little green guys taste!
I loved alternating a pistachio with a lick of my Tootsie Roll pop. I’m a sucker for the sweet and salty combo!
Question of the Afternoon
What was your favorite candy to receive when trick-or-treating on Halloween?
In order of preference, my favorite Halloween treats included:
- Almond Joy
- Kit Kat
- 100 Grand (Seriously underappreciated!)
(When I was a youngin’ Reese’s Pieces hadn’t made it to the market yet otherwise they would definitely be on my list.)

Reeses Peanut Butter Cups were and always will be my favorite!! My other “fun size” favorites when trick-or-treating were Milky Ways, Snickers, & Peanut M&Ms. Oh, & I also love tootsie pops (except they sometimes scrape the roof of my mouth!)

I always love Reeses. But I remember as a kid my sister (who is 15 yrs. older than I am) would drive me to the nicest neighborhoods to trick or treat! I was always looking for the FULL size bars not the fun size! And then I would go home and sort and count every last piece of candy. I took a full inventory so I knew if my brother took any from my bag. Btw I HATED getting pennies, apples, or old peoples hard candy. 🙂
