I’m home for the holidays and it feels wonderful!
After showering and packing my bag, Ryan and I loaded up my car with presents before hitting the road for St. Pete to spend Christmas with my family. 
Judging by the look of my jam-packed car, Ryan and I apparently think we’re Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Nooo…Wait a minute. I think the role of Santa may already be taken by someone.
It’s Sadie Claus!
Sadie parked her butt in the passenger’s seat of my car while we loaded up my trunk. It took us 20 minutes to pack everything up, and Sadie refused to get out of the car the entire time. She was not going to be left behind! If we were going somewhere today, so was she!
Fortunately hit absolutely no traffic on the two-hour drive to my parents’ house and arrived safe in sound… Starbucks Frauppuccinos in hand! 
I ordered a tall mocha light Frappuccino, but they messed up my order and gave me a venti instead. Holy HUGE Frapp. Merry Christmas, indeed.
St. Pete Shenanigans
Once in St. Pete, we dropped my car off to get an oil change at a local garage before heading to the Verizon store with my mom and sister.
Guess who now owns a brand new smart phone?
Me! And my sister, too!
Not only do we wear matching boots, but now we have matching pink Droid 2 Global phones. Our very first phones with internet! We’re moving up in the world, my friends.
Now we’re enjoying appetizers before heading to church.
Tonight we have a delicious Christmas Eve dinner planned as well as our traditional boat ride.
It’ll be a fun night!
