A little after 10 a.m., I drove to the Real Thread company office and production facility to meet with my good friend Dru. (You may see my recap of his recent wedding here.) Dru owns the t-shirt company and we previously spoke about collaborating to make some awesome PBF t-shirts.
I set up a meeting with Dru because I feel a little lost when it comes to ordering and designing shirts and I wasn’t really comfortable with the online t-shirt options I saw when I did some personal research, as the costs appear expensive, especially if you want high-quality shirts with more than one color ink.
Dru is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to t-shirt printing and design and I left our meeting feeling excited and motivated to get things going! Stay tuned for some color and slogan options. I definitely want your input.
I have many different slogan ideas and am thinking I may end up wearing one PBF t-shirt for each day of the week. My blogging uniform!
Lunch
After my meeting with Dru, I had to take my car in for service because it was part of a recall. Fortunately the service center has wireless internet, so I’m blogging away while waiting for the work on my car to be completed. (Remember when I was here last time and was practically salivating over the Tory Burch flats? Yeah, I never got those. Too darn expensive.)
Fortunately the service center had some tasty looking lunch options for those waiting and I took advantage of the free food and nabbed a turkey wrap with some kind of cream cheese spread inside.
I also enjoyed two pickles, an oatmeal raisin cookie and about 3/4 of a Nature’s Valley sweet and salty peanut bar.
Pretty sweet lunch for a car service center, huh? I was impressed!
I think my car should be just about done, so I’m off to check on the status. See ya for dinner!
P.S. Who knew I had so many Sheboygan readers!? You guys should form a little club and make peanut butter and squeaky cheese sandwiches. Or, you know, something that actually tastes good.

The place i take my car has one dingy bathroom, a few old and boring magazines and a TV with no sound. I need to upgrade, clearly!
Leanne (Bride to Mrs.) says
Very impressive lunch for a service place! 😀

I’m so addicted to those sweet & salty bars! The layer of peanut butter on top is the best part! 🙂 They’re probably not the most “real” food you can get, but I still love ’em 😉

And that’s quite the amazing selection of food for a car service place! Was it special because of the recall or is it that way all the time?!
Carrie says
I am so excited about the t-shirts!! You should be so proud how successful you have become! I will definitely order one when they become available!!
PS- I am super jealous of your car service center refreshments! Anytime I go I am lucky to get a cup of stale coffee….ick!

Lucky girl! The place I take (well, use to take my car before I lived in NYC) would only have donut holes. You can’t make a lunch out of that, or I should say, shouldn’t. I could definitely make a lunch out of it haha
Beth (Well I'll Be) says
I would never mind taking my car in if my place had wifi and free food!!!
