Blasphemy!
But just in case you’re looking for a fun sweet treat to bring to a holiday party this season and don’t want to bring the same ol’ gingerbread cookies, I thought you might enjoy one of my favorite recipes for pumpkin pie spiced pecans!
They’re really easy to make and only require four ingredients, most of which you probably have around the house already.
But be warned… these disappear in no time at all. We’re talking under five minutes when my family is around.
Pumpkin Pie Spiced Pecans
Makes 1 1/2 cups pecans (Recipe may easily be doubled or tripled)
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cup pecans
Directions
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
- Melt butter over low heat in a large pan on the stovetop.
- Add pumpkin pie spice to butter and swirl until spice is evenly distributed.
- Add pecans and sugar to butter and stir until pecans are coated in butter and spice.
- Spread pecans onto a cookie or jelly roll pan lined with parchment paper or sprayed with cooking spray and bake for approximately 18 minutes.
I created this exact same thing a few weeks ago! Great minds think alike 🙂
Wow, that sounds incredible!!! I’m trying that tomorrow!
Yum!! These look amazing. And for people who (for some reason!) don’t like cookies or candy, pecans are a great treat to snack on!
Those look so good! Maybe a rival to my favorite spiced walnuts at Christmas time…
YUM! these wouldn’t last long around me at all. we got some candied pecans as part of a Christmas gift from some friends and i think i ate half the bag the other day! i LOVE candied pecans, walnuts, and almonds!
Yummy! These would not last long around my family 🙂
They look so good. Maybe I’ll make those for my New Years party.
we’ve had some sugar coated pecans in my house all week, so good! Haha and I feel semi-healthy eating them since there’s a nut in there!
My husband would be all over these. You’ve combined his two favorite things: pumpkin pie & pecans!
These sound great!
Such a great idea!!! looks amazing.
Yum! These look and sound SO GOOD and I love the short ingredient list!!!!
Thanks for sharing!
Sounds like a great idea!! I had actually been researching recipes for spiced nuts to make as an appetizer for our family get-together tomorrow, but then I nixed the idea and went with my husband’s favorite buffalo chicken dip instead haha! 😉
Perfect! Forwarding this to my mom!
Those look dangerously & addictive-ly delicious!
Yum! I bet these would be great in an Xmas day salad with goat cheese!
I have some raw almonds from Costco that I really want to do this with! It’s just so holiday-ish!
I did something similar a few weeks ago–SO delicious! THese sound tasty!
Funny- made the same thing ( same name) for gifts a few weeks ago and have been making them for years! Love to tie a bow add the recipe and gift it. It’s a hit. Like gone as fast as i can make ’em. LITERALLY.
Yum! I bet they smell so good when they’re baking too! I just bought a huge bag of pecans at Costco. I might have to make these, but I’m scared I won’t be able to stop eating them.
Yum! I <3 pecans!
