Awesome NYC outfits! You always look so great, Julie. 🙂
thank you, shannon! i was allllll about comfort in NYC. 🙂 i knew we’d be walking around so flat boots, leggings and comfy sweaters were ideal.
I love how you thought of all that before hand! 🙂
I love your blog, by the way. I’ve been reading for almost a year and you, Ryan & Sadie are the cutest family!
Much love from Germany! 🙂
I love those boots! I’m such a short arse long boots look ridiculous on me though! Leggings all the way, ulitmate comfort. Sounds like you had a ball in NY, i need a trip, it’s been WAY too long.
I love all of your outfits. Layering and repeating simple staple items is key for light packing! I love your brown boots. I have a pair of black boots and gray boots, but I’m starting to think I need brown ones too!
soooo cute! i can’t wait to have this little baby for much more important reasons (um, snuggling him?!) but i can’t wait to comfortably fit into my clothes again either. love the boots and the old jacket!
Hi Julie! Looks like you had fun in NYC! I’ll be there in March and can’t wait :). Hey, just wondered what Foundation you use on your skin? It’s nice and matte!
my sister got me into it! it’s neurtrogena skin clearing foundation. it’s SUPER light.
I have that foundation and I love it! Everyone who reads this must give it a try! I use it everyday and I rarely get breakouts
So cute! I am in love with those boots 🙂
I think I had that same aeropostale coat only mine was pink!
from like 5 years ago??? 🙂 can’t get rid of it everrrr.
you girls look so cute! i miss my college girlfriends!
You all look so cute, cozy, and comfy! All things you want to be when exploring NYC.. 🙂 Love all 3 of your boots too!
Love those boots! Sounds like NYC was a blast!
Love your scarf!! I feel like you could literally wear it with everything.
So cute, as always! Do you have a favorite drugstore nail polish brand? As much as I love OPI and Essie, at $8-9 a pop, I rarely buy them. And I find that most drugstore brands get those annoying air bubbles or are too thick.
If you have any faves, I’d love to hear 🙂
Love all your outfits and I need that infinity scarf! It looks so cozy and the perfect layering piece! And girl, you were born to wear crop tops! That looks fab on you!
I think the boots are actually Dolce Vita… My favorite sandals ever are Dolce Vita!
Looking great, girlfriend! Love the green cropped sweater / sweatshirt. I feel like that’s my wknd uniform right now: leggings, long tank, cropped top, boots. Topped with huge circle scarf & leather moto jacket. Easy & cute!
you and me both, sistah! 🙂
You always come up with the cuties outfits. On thing I do not like about South Florida. It is just to hot for boots and scarfs!!
Whoa Julie I have that exact same jacket from Aeropostale. It’s super old 😉
woop woop! 😀
I live for those Sally Hansen Insta-Dri polishes!
Do the insta-dri nail polishes really insta-dri??? I HATE polishing and then getting spots because it doesn’t dry good!
yes! i am the SAME way with nail polish – so impatient – but they are incredibly fast drying!
Your trip looks so fun! I really like the way your hair is curled in your pictures. How do you make it look so cute? Thanks for sharing!

Hi Julie!
You always look amazing. I wish we were sisters so I could swap clothes with you! Haha! I’m dying to visit NYC–love the walking everywhere, the hustle and bustle, the shopping, and nightlife. Looks like you lived it up!
Hey Julie! Looks like you had a blast and you looked FANTASTIC while doing it! I just have one question, I looooove the legging looks that you always wear but I’m confused because all the leggings that I’ve been trying have been slightly see-through and so I can’t wear them without something long to cover up my booty. Do you never have that problem?
yes! keep shopping! i had the same issue and it took trying on a ton of different styles to find a pair i felt was thick enough to wear without worrying that they’d be see-through.
Great! I will continue the quest! Thanks!
I know they’re a little more on the pricey side, but leggings from american apparel are thick enough to wear as bottoms without giving a show. definitely worth the splurge if you’re having a tough time finding the right pair!

annnd they even have a winter pair thats thick for the cold!

I recommend the the Victoria Secret leggins by Moda. I own a ton. Slightly obsessed!
Love Love Love Sally Hanson Insta-dry Slate. The color is fab, the shape of the brush makes painting so easy, and the (nonexistent) dry-time is awesome!
Hey! I just found your website while I was looking for fall clothes. I have visited many other website with the cutest outfits but they never show where they got the items from. I was so excited when I found your website because the stores you got the items from are near me!! (happy dance!!!) You are super pretty and Ryan is super lucky to have you!
Sincerly,
Andrea
I just purchased these boots online from Victoria’s Secret! I have been wanting them since I found your blog a few months ago. I am pretty short but I am hoping they look cute on me! I have never worn boots before. We’ll be matching before long.
Love your outfits! Are those Colin Stuart riding boots pretty true to size when compared to the size you wear in other shoes? I don’t have tiny calves and sometimes have a hard time finding a riding boot that will fit – would you say you have a lot of room around the calve or are they snug? Thanks!
-jessica
they’re VERY roomy in the calves!!
Thanks for your response! I just ordered them in black – hope they are as cute as the ones you have!
You are adorable, I love your style and what a lovely blog…so glad I stumbled upon it via a pin of one of your outfits on Pinterest! 🙂
