She swore by compression gear as a means to increase oxygen blood flow to the muscles, helping them to recover faster.
After wearing compression sleeves over my calves following the Womenās Half Marathon later that month, I was a believer. I wasnāt sore and loved the snug fit of the sleeves.
I knew then that I wanted to try out compression shorts since my hamstrings and quads are often sore after long runs.
Thanks to the kind people at Aspaeris, I was able to try out the Aspaeris Pivot compression shorts and my belief in the benefits of compression clothing was further solidified.
The Aspaeris compression shorts are tight and thick, but comfortable. They donāt dig into my skin. They are snug, but donāt make me feel strangled.
According to Aspaeris, the shorts āoffer a unique two-layer design. The top layer supports your muscles while the bottom layer guides you into position. Breakthrough, patent-pending compression bands are cross-knit into the fabric that creates muscle memory to help prevent ACL injury and improve your performance.ā
Snug as a bug in a rug.
The shorts come in a variety of colors including black, white, red and navy blue.
And now YOU have a chance to win a pair of Aspaeris Pivot compression shorts!

I think my biggest accomplishment was back in college when I finally made it to ECACs, placed, and ran a 39:56 in a 10K; since then (6 years later) I continue competing and am hoping to finally get the courage to run my first marathon!

I never ran marathon, but I enjoy walking 5 miles whenever I can. I try to take 5 group workout classes every week. For me, that’s great accomplishment. My daughter just told me about the compression shorts and would like to get her one, but I think it’s too expensive for now..

I’m barely getting back on my feet -literally- after surgery to repair my ruptured Achilles. In an effort to get back to an active lifestyle I have taken up the sport of Disc Golf. It gives me an opportunity to get outdoors, breath fresh air all while walking beautiful trails and courses and slowly strengthening my Achilles, ankles, calves and legs. After 6 months of doing nothing and atrophy in my calf I have noticed this will be a long and low process.
I am sore after every match and have read rave reviews on compression gear and have been looking into getting some sleeves and shorts. If I win, this would be a great opportunity for me.
My athletic goals are to strengthen and condition my legs so I can eventually run in one of the several races my city hosts. Another goal is to strengthen my lower body so I am confident enough to deliver power when driving the discs when I play Disc Golf. I’d like to hit my first hole in one.
