Since I will be turning 27 on April 27, this year is my golden birthday. I will be celebrating like a mature adult on a booze cruise in the Bahamas.

Lunch today included tuna salad served on top of a toasted whole wheat English muffin with roasted Brussels sprouts and kettlecorn on the side.
Have any of you guys tried Popcorn Indiana kettlecorn? My gosh, itās delicious!
It was an impulse buy at the grocery store yesterday and I snacked on it all day on Sunday. I canāt get enough!

hi phoebe! i love that you’re doing date night! as for your questions, i would often keep the location/activity secret until the day of, but sometimes i’d cave and just have to tell him ahead of time. before we were married, i paid for the dates i planned and he paid for the dates he planned.

What’s this golden birthday business? We call it your champagne birthday when you turn the age of the date of your birthday (you know what I mean.) Mine was this year too and I definitely celebrated with some champagne!!!

ohoooo my goodness, that kettle corn is my kryptonite. my advisor bought it for me in college knowing how much I loved popcorn, and it was gone in less than 48 hours.
I refuse to buy it. it’s that good/bad.
1. That popcorn is BOMB. I literally cannot allow myself to purchase it anymore because I WILL eat the entire bag in one sitting. It’s not okay.
2. MY BIRTHDAY’S FRIDAY TOO!!!!! Next year is my golden birthday, and I am now emailing this post to all of my friends/family as proof that they need to take me on a cruise to the Bahamas to properly celebrate. š Happy birthday week!!

I just celebrated a birthday on the 20th (the big 2-6!). This week I’m excited to hang out with my baby nephew, who I see at least once a week, but I love his visits just the same!

Kettle corn is sooo good, too! Trader joe’s sells it (in a pink bag). We buy 2 bags per week sometimes (excuse: training for a 12K lol)
Well I just won tickets to a Miranda Lambert concert so I am pretty pumped about this week already and its only Monday. Concert isn’t until August but I can’t wait! It’s the day before a 10K race too.

Definitely looking forward to having my aunt from Florida in town this weekend! She can finally see my engagement ring in person. It’s always a hoot when she’s around. We’re going to eat at her favorite custard place (I live in Wisconsin) on Saturday night and then my cousin’s First Communion party on Sunday. Should be a great time!
