Florida Blogger & Social Media Conference Giveaway

April 21, 2013 by Julie 86 Comments

If you’re a blogger or social media professional living in the Central Florida area, today’s giveaway may be right up your alley!

The Florida Blogger & Social Media Conference (FLBlogCon) began in 2011 and was an instant success.

FLBlogCon

(The conference used to the Central Florida Blogger & Social Media Conference, or CFLBlogCon, but dropped the “Central” this year.)

I attended the conference in its inaugural year and was so impressed. At last year’s conference, I left with tons of notes and can honestly say that it was the most educational blogging conference I have ever attended.

I detailed a bunch of my takeaways in my conference recaps which you can see below:

  • Part I
  • Part II
  • Part III

FLBlogCon bloggers

The conference addresses blog growth, search engine optimization, growing your presence in social media, making money through blogging, marketing your blog and more. There’s so much to learn!

This year the conference is taking place at Full Sail in Winter Park, Florida on Saturday, September 21. Tickets go on sale May 15, but you can win one through this giveaway before they’re available to the public!

And for those of you interested in speaking at the conference, they are accepting applications through May 1. Click here to apply!

To enter this giveaway, simply comment on this post, telling me what topic you hope to learn about at the conference.

I will randomly select a winner on Monday, April 29.

Good luck!

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

I’m interested. I started a blog a year and a half ago, but I would like to start posting more frequently on it, and making better use of it. I think this conference would be extremely beneficial. Safe travels 🙂

I’d love to learn about the professional and business side of blogging. From reading your experiences, there is so much legwork with privacy and finances that are way beyond my realm of knowledge. I think that would be very beneficial for any journalist or writer, since our main focus during school is developing our writing techniques.

I’d like to learn more about blog organization. I blog infrequently right now, but haven’t ruled out the possibility of becoming a more regular blogger in the future so any insights I can tuck away would be helpful!

As someone who has worked on the re-branding and re-launch of an Orlando events blog, I’m looking for ways to collaborate with other blogs in the area- be they fashion, restaurant/foodies, music, etc. We focus on quirky events <$20 and have had a great response, but we need to harness that into building a group of cooperative bloggers that elevate/cross-promote, and interact.

    I can't wait for the conference! (www.theORLANDOAN.com, facebook.com/theorlandoan)

Started my blog almost three years ago and I’m still toying with self-hosting. I’m want to know how I can take my blog to the next level with giveaways and becoming a brand ambassador. This month, I became a brand ambassador for Earth Fare. I want to fully optimize that opportunity to give them the exposure they deserve while getting exposure myself. Plus, Florida has some pretty awesome bloggers, especially health bloggers! I want to connect with them as well!

At the urging of some friends, I went last year. WOW! I never wrote a blog before but because of the encouragement and success stories shared last year, I launched my blog in early February. This year I hope to learn how to get more ‘likes’ on my page and how to monetize. Free or not free -(free would be better – I haven’t monitzied it yet!) I wouldn’t miss it for anything!

I usually go to the big summer conference, but I’m taking a year off to get back in touch with why I began to blog in the first place. I have 2 blogs, and I want to get better at managing them and do some networking with fellow Florida bloggers.
