Leg Workout and S’mores Coffee

September 4, 2013 by Julie 87 Comments

Good morning party people!

Life in Ocala got back to normal yesterday after a fabulous three day weekend. Ryan and I worked and then spent some time outside with Sadie after dinner.

On Monday we went scuba diving all day with my dad, two of my dad’s friends, my sister and her fiancé. We took all of the pictures from our scuba adventure with Ross’ camera and we’re having issues transferring them to a normal computer. (Apparently they were all shot in the raw mode, which makes this harder? I don’t understand cameras.) Anyway, my body was still quite tired from Monday’s activities yesterday, so I skipped my usual workout.

Workout

Today I woke up feeling rejuvenated and drove to the gym with Ryan at 5:15 a.m. for an early morning workout. I began with 20 minutes on the arc trainer before hopping off to complete the following leg workout:

Leg Workout

It was a good one!

Breakfast

When we arrived home, I was grateful I prepared breakfast last night because I was more than ready to eat!

I topped a bowl of overnight oats with slivered almonds and a sprinkle of shredded coconut that I had leftover from the butterscotch banana bread oatmeal bites I made last week.

The highlight of my morning meal came in a coffee mug thanks to a new flavored coffee that I tried for the first time today.

Ashley’s positive reviews of this flavor encouraged me to buy it when I saw it on clearance at Target. It smells fantastic and tastes great! A solid recommendation!

After breakfast, Ryan and I met up with our landlord for a walk through of our house. We decided to renew our lease for another year and he needed to check things out before we signed the lease again. Everything looked okay and we’re good to go!

I hope you’re having a good day so far. It’s already Wednesday!

Question of the Morning

  • Do you like flavored coffee? If so, what is your favorite flavor?

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

I just bought the Candy Corn flavor by Archer Farms. It tastes a little bit like the real deal, but I’ll have to try the S’mores flavor soon. My all-time favorite flavored coffee is Pumpkin Spice, and for a plain flavor, the Starbucks Christmas Blend is pretty good, come wintertime.

Smores flavored coffee sounds amazing–it makes me want to go camping! 🙂 And on a side note…it is officially Fall since Starbucks brought back Pumpkin Spice Lattes this week!

I’m not so sure about flavoured coffee, sometimes it tastes kind of like fake sugar, but I have to admit that I’m a sucker for french vanilla 😉

I don’t want to be nosy and I know this can be a personal issue for some people, but is there a reason you and Ryan aren’t looking to buy a house?

Drank some toasted almond coffee today- so good! Archer Farms actually has a lot of great coffee- the Italian roast is bold and tasty.

They have that brand at Target! I just bought some archer farms blueberry trail mix! It has dried bluberries, walnuts, almonds, and pecans and it rocks my world! I might have to try that coffee when I make my next stop there! Who doesn’t come away with like a thousand things when they enter target anyway!?

Mmmm! I’m actually heading to Target tonight. I’ll be on the lookout. Might add a little of my morning coffee to some oatmeal or a smoothie 🙂 I don’t use my Kerig that much, but family was in town and I got eight o’ clock coffee in hazelnut. Everyone seemed to like it because it was gone within a few days 🙂

Fresh Market has the BEST flavored coffee – I love that they always have samples, too. It’s a great way to take a test taste before you commit to a whole bag.

I like really strong coffee and often find the flavored coffees to be a bit on the mild side. I add cinnamon or nutmeg to dark coffee grounds right in the filter basket and it tastes great.

For your camera issues, most people cannot open “Raw” files on their home computers. Most professionals shoot in raw but jpgs are much smaller files which his computer should open- so for future reference he should shoot in jpg not raw! 🙂 You may have to purchase a certain program to even open the Raw files unless you know someone who already has it. Lightroom will open it but can be pricey. Photoshop will open them if it’s the latest version, so you could always open it in photoshop and resave it as a jpg. Only issue is you would have to open each picture one at a time which could take awhile. Hopefully that was not too confusing! I am a professional photographer in the DC/VA area so if you are still having issues feel free to email me and I can take a look! Smores coffee sounds amazing!

    Thanks,

I miss flavored coffee! I gave coffee up the beginning of summer, and though it has done good for me health wise, I do miss it.

I live in a small town- Lewiston NY. There is a coffee co here called Orange Cat that has maybe 100 different home blended coffees. I send all my friends beans if they do not live in the area anymore. Some of my favorites are red velvet, chocolate coconut, streusel cake and French toast. Pure heaven!
