Good afternoon!
I hope your day is going well!
My morning began with a team meeting to kick off planning for the Taste of Ocala. I am on the planning committee for the annual event again and met up with my fellow team members to discuss themes and other to-dos after breakfast.
Lunch
Once our meeting was done, my stomach was grumbling and I decided to grab an early lunch from the salad bar at Earth Origins.
The salad was good, but I was still hungry when I finished, so I bought a bag of trail mix from the bulk bins to eat on the go.
Errands followed lunch and I swung by the post office to drop off my latest Stitch Fix (<—affiliate link!) returns. I ended up keeping a pair of red skinny jeans from the “fix” I received this week and wore them to my meeting this morning.
I think the jeans will look cute paired with a flowy white blouse or a lacey peplum top. I’m excited to get a lot of use out of them!
During my final errand of the day, I met up with Ryan because we both had some formalwear that needed to be altered.
(Dear Pete and Merri, We promise not to do those poses on your wedding day.)
Ryan and I are both in the bridal party for Merri and Pete’s wedding next weekend and this will be the first wedding we’ve ever been in together. (It’s also the final wedding we have on our calendar after our “year of weddings!”) Merri and Pete are such a wonderful couple and I know their wedding will be incredible. Ryan’s suit and my dress will be ready and waiting for us next Wednesday. I can’t wait!
Now I have dinner on the brain, so it’s off to start rummaging through the fridge. Have a great night!

Ryan and I have never been in a wedding together (except for our own!) and we’re thrilled to be able to share this special time in our friends’ lives together!

I looooove Stitchfix. I just got my 10th fix from them. Stitchfixer for Life over here! I like those red tights.
Never been in a wedding with my husband other than our own. It does seem like it would be fun though! You both look great! Have fun at the wedding!
Are you standing up in the wedding together or with different people?
Also, that gold dress looks like you’re going to the Academy Awards.
Ryan is a groomsman so he’ll be on Pete’s side and I’m a bridesmaid so I’ll be with Merri. 🙂
What I meant was, are you being ‘coupled’ with him? You know, like walking down the aisle together or is your friend pairing you with a different grooms-men?

I love your dress! The bride has good taste! The only wedding my husband and I have been in together is our own…and although we obviously have friends in common, it looks like it will remain that way!
That is so nice that you both get to be in the bridal party. We are only just getting into wedding season now I’m not in any wedding parties but my boyfriend is.

I never thought about it, but no! my husband and I like to joke that we do weddings in shifts…first all my bridesmaid duties and now the wave has hit and now he is doing groomsmen duties….we get excited when we actually can attend a wedding “together”.

Gorgeous dress! When I was the MOH for my best friend, my hubby was an usher and a read a poem the couple picked out. So it was super fun to be SUPER dressed up together! 🙂

My fiance is British and we were both in the wedding party of our friends wedding. Apparently in English weddings guys don’t really have groomsmen its just the best man and ushers, so we walked down the wedding by ourselves!
He is doing the same for our wedding and only having his best man at the alter with us, and I have 6 bridesmaids!
My boyfriend and I are in the same wedding this May. He’s the best man and I’m a bridesmaid – but we requested NOT to walk down the isle together because we thought it would be too weird!!
My husband and I were in one wedding together. I thought it was so fun to be in a wedding with my husband. We were dating at the time but needless to say, it was still a great time. There is nothing like walking down the aisle with you hubby and we have great pictures of the moment 🙂 I even caught the bouquet at that wedding.

My husband and I met by being in a wedding together. We walked together in my sister’s wedding, and then re-met 8 years later, and were married within the year. 🙂
I haven’t been in a wedding with my husband but in college I was in a wedding with my best guy friend. His family REALLY wanted us to be together and did everything they could to try and get us to see that, including having us stand together in his sister’s wedding 😉

I’m 27 and most of my friends are not married yet. I’ve been in two weddings, and I don’t think my fiancé has been in any (ours will be his first!). That’s such a cute dress! I also love the jeans. I just bought an olive pair, so I think red jeans will be next on the list!
I just finished a mini quilt of fabric from the weddings my sister has been in (we cut small pieces out of areas inside the dress so that the dresses could be donated to THE CINDERELLA PROJECT … an awesome program that matches your old dresses with teens who cannot afford prom dresses (they also take shoes, nylons, slips, etc)
