But now let’s focus on your usual Friday post: Things I’m Loving Friday! Just in case you’re new around here, Things I’m Loving Friday is a weekly feature on PBF where we all chat about things we’re loving this week. Feel free to join in the fun in the comments section of this post and tell me about something that’s making you smile this week!
Things I’m Loving Friday
- Hint Peppermint Water
My mom and I share an intense love for Hint peppermint water and I’m so happy it’s back in stores for the holiday season. It’s incredibly refreshing and probably my favorite Hint flavor. So good!
- Angie’s Holidrizzle Iced Gingerbread Popcorn
It’s a fact: If Angie’s makes a holiday flavored popcorn, I will buy it. And so, naturally, this Holidrizzle Iced Gingerbread kettle corn found its way into my cart at The Fresh Market earlier this week. It is absolutely bursting with gingerbread flavor and the sweet icing drizzle is so darn delicious. It’s a new holiday favorite, for sure!
I figured my fellow dog lovers would appreciate this one! Some of them really surprised me (Pottery Barn!?), but the article makes sure to note that pet policies do vary store-to-store. Still pretty cool! I wouldn’t feel comfortable bringing Sadie to most of these places, but she is quickly becoming a big fan of Lowe’s now that we know she’s allowed there!
This vest!! A few of you asked about it before and I have nothing but great things to say about it! I ordered the vest from NordstromRack.com a few weeks ago and have worn it several times a week since. It’s lighter weight than a typical down vest, but the Omni-Heat insulation makes it super warm. It’s the perfect vest to wear in between fall and winter and I think it will be great for wintertime running, too!
- The Cutest Thing You’ll See All Day
I owe Ryan a big thank you for bringing this ridiculously adorable video into my life. If you’re looking for a little something to make your heart melt this morning, check out this video of a rescued otter pup. I just want to snuggle with her! So stinkin’ cute!
- Starbucks Bringing Back Eggnog
Did you guys hear Starbucks was going to do away with eggnog on the east coast this year? I actually tried to order a chai eggnog latte when we were in Savannah last weekend and was super bummed when the barista told me eggnog on the east coast was no more. Well, apparently Starbucks got some intense feedback when they removed it from the menu and ended up reversing their decision. Eggnog remains! WOO! And if you haven’t ordered a chai eggnog latte before, please do so before the holiday season is over. You won’t be disappointed!
- Giveaway Winners
Congratulations to Kalynn C., the winner of the Montiel Activewear Giveaway! And congratulations to Laura C. and Sally, the two winners of the Nordstrom Clearance Sale Giveaway! All giveaway winners were emailed first thing this morning. Thanks to all who entered!

I’m loving that I get to team teach BODYATTACK tomorrow. It’s my first ‘real’ time teaching that format, so I’m excited (and crammin’) haha. 😉

So great! My mom always brings our dogs anywhere (they’re not small either, both over 50 lbs!) But I love how she just goes for it, I mean, life is too short to leave your pooches at home! I’m loving these skinny pumpkin chocolate muffins from Sally’s blog! You have to try – I’m addicted now! http://sallysbakingaddiction.com/2014/10/13/130-calorie-chocolate-pumpkin-spice-muffins/

I live close to Carmel, CA which it’s known to be one of the most dog friendly cities around. A lot of restaurants even have a dog menu. They also have an off leash dog beach which is pretty much unheard of. Too bad my Jack Russell is a little too wild to go to one. Ha!

Hi Julie! I’ve been meaning to comment on one of your Things I’m Loving Friday posts for a while now with something I enjoy every week (and think you may too!). It’s a product called Nuts N More. Nuts N More is a Rhode Island company (I’m a RI born and bred!) that makes fortified nut butters — and they are AMAZING. I’ve been eating them for about six months and I kid you not — I usually eat 1/4 cup of their peanut butter every.single.day. My favorite flavors are toffee crunch, pumpkin spice and chocolate peanut butter. Their regular peanut butter is also delicious. If you’re interested in checking them out, you should visit http://www.nuts-n-more.com/. They are also entering the market through GNC. Now, off to enjoy some chocolate peanut butter! Have a great weekend!

I know this is hardly new, but I’m really loving Pinterest this week. It’s giving me such great decorating ideas, clean eating recipes, and style suggestions. It’s been awesome, I feel like I’m finally using it to it’s full potential 😉

Love the vest. I have a similar one… but every time I wear it I get comments like “looks like you’re dressing for a canoe trip. Like you’re expecting a flood”. Lol. I live in Kansas… maybe that’s why? Does anyone else get those comments? Lol
Also love your hair. Do you straighten it every day or is it naturally straight? I have the thickest, curly hair… and I so wish I could just get out of the shower, brush it and be done! Lol
Longest comment ever, but we recently got a Viszla. I really researched tons of breeds, but because of all your posts about Sadie I decided on a Viszla. Love her! Although… her favorite spot to sleep is on my face. Haha. 😉

What kind of boots do you have on? They are super cute 🙂
Julie says
Thanks! They’re the Columbia Minx Pull-On Boots!

Great post! I’m wondering with all the stuff the Food Babe has been putting out about Starbucks, if that has affected you in terms of supporting them? I’d love to get your take on that! Thanks for the fun posts!
