I have a pretty intense workout to share with you guys today!
Late this morning, I headed to the gym to take my favorite boot camp class. The class is a 55-minute class, but the workout portion usually takes around 40 minutes since we spend time warming up, cooling down and learning the exercises in each station of the boot camp.
When I left today’s workout, I knew I wanted to share what I could remember from it with you guys this afternoon since a number of you seemed to enjoy the boot camp workout I shared last Wednesday.
Well, I ended up increasing the duration of today’s boot camp workout to make this 60-minute intense boot camp workout. It’s one hour of serious sweating!
Directions: Complete each station in the above workout for three minutes before moving onto the next. You will likely finish all of the exercises in each station before three minutes are up, so simply repeat the exercises over and over again until three minutes are over. Rest as needed, but try to keep things moving!
Here are links to some video demos of a few of the exercises:
Lunch
After my workout, a locker room shower and more work, I drove home for lunch. I had to meet up with our landlord for our biannual walk-through.
As I waited for our landlord to arrive, I threw together a salad with lots of tasty toppings.
In my bowl:
- Spinach + Romaine Lettuce
- Avocado
- Roasted and Salted Chickpeas
- Sliced Orange
- Turkey
- Balsamic Vinaigrette
Eat up, buttercup!
Right when this blog post goes up, I’m off to a training that will last until 7 p.m. Gotta pack dinner + snacks!
Have a great Wednesday, my friends.
great workout! i love workouts that keep you constantly moving and switching it up! no boredom!
That looks like a great workout. Thank you for sharing!
Of course! Thank YOU for reading!
that looks like such a great workout! i’ll definitely have to try it soon (and i’ll definitely be incorporating some of those moves into my step & conditioning class next week).
and that salad looks amazing!
That workout looks really awesome! I might need to look up more of those moves since I’m not familiar with all of them, but overall it looks like it would make the time go pretty quickly! (Except maybe at the end when I’m dead ;))
YouTube is great for finding more demos of the exercises!
This boot camp session looks pretty fierce. I hope there was some good background music to keep the class going.
WHOA. I want that salad in my life ASAP! 🙂
Awesome workout, thanks for it!
That work out is intimidating to this girl! I’m scared!
Great workout!!! Definitely one for beating the boredom! Pinned for Friday!
That looks like I may die if I attempt it. I think I’m going to take pieces out of it and work it into my interval training that I do wednesday mornings…. One day I’ll be on your level 😉
I love bootcamp workouts! I went to a boot camp in Winter Springs when I visited my brother and it was awesome. I hope your training goes by quickly!
Loved the last bootcamp work out- – this one looks like a killer, too!
Love how this workout is formatted! No boredom, that’s for sure 🙂 And that salad bowl looks amazing!
That workout sounds awesome! I’m going to see if I can sweet talk someone into doing it with me though
Isn’t it amazing how spring comes around and BOOM salad cravings do, too? I had the BEST salad for lunch: shredded chicken, 1/2 avocado, kale + spinach medley and a homemade dressing of dijon mustard, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, S+P. Mmm! Highly recommend!
Avocado makes everything taste better! Love it in salads.
You’re so creative with creating new workouts! This one looks intense! I’m trying to come up with some new ways to workout that won’t freak out my fibula because I just found out I have a stress fracture there ( 🙁 ). I know you’re not a doctor of course, but any ideas on potentially good exercises?
60 minutes is my preference for a workout so I love this!!!
And, that salad looks awesome!
What is your advise for the run portion if there is no where for the class to run? Running in place is pretty boring.
Did you have a treadmill nearby or did you just run in place? Did you ever have trouble perfecting your run form? I am trying to switch to a midfoot landing (from my heel landing that left me injured) and having a difficult time. It’s so hard to be a beginner runner!
I cannot wait to try this work-out, always looking for something new!
Ahhhh this workout looks so awesome! Thank you for sharing! Can’t wait to do it. Love the colors too, so spring-y 🙂
That’s a lot of moving around for sure! And thanks to your reference to the wall balls move, I’m thinking of trying it out tonight just to see how it feels on the muscles. I’m always excited to try different and new-to-me/innovative moves! 🙂
Thanks for sharing, I LOVE bootcamp workouts!
Wow this looks like a really great workout! Look forward to trying it!
This salad sound healthy and delicious. 😛 Thanks for sharing great workout..
That is seriously intense! Thanks for sharing–will Pin for later!
This workout looks awesome! I want to try it ASAP!
I really need to get on these roasted chickpeas. I love chickpeas, and love my food roasted, so this is a no brainer. Do you take the skin off?
Have you ever done a bootcamp workout in the pool???
So freaking awesome!!!!!!!
Worth dragging myself outta bed for!
My fiance and I did your bootcamp workout from last week and we loved it. Keep them coming!!! I love workouts that we can do together 🙂
If I was going to do this at home and I don’t have everything (nothing to jump onto for box jumps or no bosu), what do you recommend? Repeating another box again?
One hour of workout is pretty intense. I couldn’t even get a 30 minute workout done right. I keep pausing in between position and technique. I think I might need a good, full-day rest if I ought to start this workout or else I’ll pass out in the first 30 minutes of this routine. I have a question though, would the benefit we reap from continuous 60 minute workout be the same with a 60 minute workout but with a 1-2 minute rest interval?
That salad looks delicious! Love avocado, it makes everything taste better.
I have been following your blog for about 2 years, and this is my first comment, but thanks for the workouts and recipes! 🙂

I have done this workout several times on my own and love it. Today I led my boyfriend through it outside today since we we’re having beautiful weather in NC and he was ready to quit early. We pushed on and I was proud to say I schooled him. #girlstrength. Thanks Julie!
Thanks so much for the great boot camp workout!!! I plan to do it with my girls gym class!!
I just did that workout and it was great! It went by quickly and I felt like I got a whole body workout. I have a question tho, what is froggers? I ended up doing jump squats and on the down going all the way to the ground like a frog hopping lol. Thanks for sharing this workout
