My first Recent Looks post of 2025 is here! I had to laugh when I initially went to write this blog post back in early January. As I was uploading pictures of the outfits I wore back in November and December, the “MERRY” Target sweatshirt we all loved so much completely dominated my photos. Since I figured a Recent Looks post featuring the same sweatshirt in 90% of the photos wouldn’t be of interest, I held off on this post until I wasn’t living in the same sweatshirt day in and day out and had some less festive looks to share. (Not gonna lie, I miss wearing that sweatshirt on repeat.)
As always, the looks you see below are comfy because my tolerance for anything remotely uncomfortable has plummeted in recent years. Most looks are also very casual and mom-life friendly as I work from home, run around after the boys a lot and don’t need to look fancy too often… or ever, really.
I’ve honestly been wearing athleisure (leggings, sweats and joggers) even more often than usual lately. But I found enough pictures of times I actually got dressed to put in a post. Let’s get to it!

Would you ever be up for doing a closet tour post? I always enjoy the glimpses of your bright and organized space in your outfit photos! I love home design / decor posts and enjoyed the few rooms you highlighted in the past, including your thought process and choices since you designed your new home.
I would love to see how you organize your clothing so you can see what you have- cause girl you got a lot of clothes!
My issue is forgetting what I own (if that makes sense?).
I do switch out my closets for the season so it is not bursting at the seams, but I def own way less clothes than you.
You appear to be super duper organized so I bet you have figured out how to do this and any tips or a closet tour would be great.
Also, wouldn’t a closet for clothing and a closet for shoes and a closet for purses and jewelry be wonderful!
Hi Julie! Would be willing to share more about your Garmin watch? I currently have an Apple Watch that’s going to need to be upgraded sooner rather than later and I’m intrigued by the Garmin. Does it offer similar functions, like receiving texts or calls, sync to maps for directions, etc. Thanks!
