Thanks to the wonderful assistance of Seth, the Fashion page of Peanut Butter Fingers is now alive and cookin’! (If any of you are looking for help with your blog, I cannot recommend Seth enough. He is so, so easy to work with and has a brain that can decipher ideas of crazy blog women with no computer knowledge. He’s amazing.)
About the Fashion page: I will try to update it regularly whenever I snap a picture of an outfit I’m wearing. I will be sure to let you guys know through my posts on the homepage when the Fashion page has been updated so you’re not clicking over there when it’s the same old stuff. Also, I think that if you’re subscribed to PBF in Google Reader, these posts should come through in your Google Reader feed automatically.
So that’s that! I’m excited about this new addition to PBF!
Breakfast
Guys, I am seriously addicted to cereal. I had it for dinner last night. I had two bowls of it around 9 p.m. when I got home from Starbucks. I easily ate three (maybe four?) servings of it this morning (two in a bowl with milk, one straight from the box).
Topped with honey roasted pecans and milk, my attack on the box of Honey Nut Chex cereal tasted delicious and was actually pretty filling!
You know what would be cool? If vegetables tasted like cereal.
Workout
Today’s workout was a decent one! I was all over the place at the gym and completed 50 minutes of cardio that looked like this:
- 15 min. arc trainer
- 10 min. run (1.0 incline, 6.8 pace)
- 5 min. incline walk (8.0 incline, 4.0 pace)
- 20 min. elliptical
After toweling off, I headed home and met up with my friend Merri for a one-mile walk with Sadie. Merri will be moving to New York at the end of May and I’m determined to soak up as much time with her as possible until then! 😀
Once our walk was over, I came home, ate a ton of cereal and showered… Next up: Work.
Happy Thursday, everyone!

i love your mish mash workouts!! they would def stop me from getting bored on one machine!… ahahh i cant relate to the cereal thing becuz when i eat a full bowl i get major stomach aches.. i can only tolerate a handful at a time.. but with nut butter, that is a totally different story!
Holly @ Couch Potato Athlete says
I love cereal but it does not fill me up — I am hungry within 1/2 hour even after eating multiple bowls!
Erin says
I LOVE cereal too.. my biggest weaknesses: Oh’s, Honey Bunches of Oats, or the new Special K Granola… I think just anything honey is amazing and needs to be eaten in mass quantities! 😀
Alison says
Hey Jules!~
I can totally relate to your cereal addiction. In fact, I can’t keep cereal & milk in my apartment because I won’t stop eating it until it’s gone! lol Personally, I love oatmeal and Egg Beaters for breakfast. It fills me up for several hours and I don’t have those crazy cravings! 🙂
kristy @ kristyruns says
Mmmm…cereal! Peanut butter puffins are the best and right down you alley. 😉
Courtney says
My work has a cereal ROOM, filled with all different types of cereal… needless to say – I am also addicted!! We’ve been coming up with some crazy delicious concoctions by mixing cereals, too. I totally recommend this method 😉

Leanne (For Health's Sake) says
Slim Optimum cereal (from Nature’s Path) is my new fave cereal… it has a ton of fibre in it, it’s organic, and it tastes amazing!
🙂 and yay for fashion!

Katy (The Singing Runner) says
You can never have enough cereal. 😉
Rachel says
I once met a person who did not enjoy cereal. At all. And it literally blew my mind, I think I asked 20 follow up questions when that came out of his mouth. Don’t get it. Anyway, I wanted to ask if you had ever done that Jillian michael’s Banish Fat Boost Metabolism dvd? I needed something that would kick my butt and give me a more intense workout at home. And it most definitely delivered. Love your blog, you’re fantastic 🙂
Courtney @ The Granola Chronicles says
I’m eating cereal as I read this! 🙂
I’m excited to see your fashion posts!

My newest non-healthy cereal obsession is cupcake pebbles. SO GOOD..they seriously smell and taste like a batch of cupcakes. I eat them mixed with vanilla greek yogurt as a snack.
Gill (snaxandthecity) says
i love workouts that are totally random but in the end, really good! what’s an arc trainer?
*scampers off to raid the cereal cupboard*
Kasey @ thisbodyismyhome says
Cereal is like kryptonite to me! Yesterday I finished an ENTIRE box of Kashi Honey Sunshine. I can’t keep my hand out of the box.
The worst (best?) is Nature’s Path Peanut Butter Panda Puffs…. those things don’t stand a chance!
Gabriela @ Une Vie Saine says
YAY for the fashion page! I was so excited when two posts came up in my Reader just now. Love it.
Cereal is one of my top-three all-time favorite foods. When I got home from the bar last night there was a package outside of my apartment door from Nature’s Path, containing a free sample of their new granola…the 6 serving box now has about 1 serving left in it. Why does it have to be so good?!
ashley says
Totally understand the cereal addiction, cereal and ice cream are the two things I CANNOT keep in my house, I’m incapable of eating just one serving size lol
KitKat @ Pursuit of Happiness says
YAY for the fashion page!!
This post was so funny, I actually will not let myself buy cereal because of my lack of self control with it. For some reason I crave it more after each bowl I eat (and get less and less full). I’ve definitely eaten a box within two days too! My recent obsession was cinnamon toast crunch (…just like a serving of vegetables!) 🙂
Lindsey @ Cardio Pizza says
I eat cereal almost every day for breakfast and sometimes as an evening snack. It’s one of life’s greatest little pleasures in my opinion 🙂 Try Peanut Butter Bumpers or Peanut Butter Puffins…amazing!
Gen says
That cereal looks awesome!!
Glad the fashion page is up! =D
Seth @ Boy Meets Food says
Glad I could help. 🙂
BTW, yes, the Fashion posts will still go to RSS and email subscribers.
Erin @ The Grass Skirt says
So excited about the fashion page!
It would be cool if vegetables tasted like cereal…but vegetable flavored cereal, on the other hand, wouldn’t be so good. 😉
Cynthia says
If vegetables tasted like cereal, I would have no problem getting my 5 a day in. 😉
I can’t eat cereal for breakfast. I need quite a few servings to fill me up and even then, it doesn’t fill me up for long. I don’t mind cereal as a snack though.
Ash says
my Ryan makes fun of me all the time when it comes to cereal! i’ve been on a kick lately and told him that when we live together he’ll have to LOCK IT UP! I’m obsessed with it 🙂 The other night I sent him a text with a picture of a new cereal – Honey Nut Cheerios with a hint of Cinnamon! AMAZING 🙂 then I wrote – “oops, I’m having cereal for dinner, AGAIN” 🙂 I can’t help it!
Amanda-The Nutritionist Reviews says
Love the new page! I can’t wait to see more of your fashion.
Keri says
I love cereal! It actually used to be a huge comfort food for me, and I don’t know why! I still love it, but it doesn’t keep me as full as I would like…

Love the fashion page. You always look so well put together 🙂

Cereal = amazing… I have a huge love for Oh’s, but they’re so sugary I have to keep them out of my pantry! My new love is Cheerios Banana Nut with blueberries (frozen… they get icy!) and vanilla almond milk!
Allison@ Happy Tales says
I’ve never tried this cereal before, I’m going to have to try it!
So excited for your fashion page to finally be up, congrats!!!
Therese says
I’m with you. All cereal is addicting, but Honey Nut Chex is one of the best/worst!
