Today was rather random. I always feel like Sundays become either a day of scrambling around to get everything you neglected to do on Saturday done, or a day of vegging out on the couch eating your bodyweight in granola.
Since Iām an equal opportunity employer, I made sure to do a little bit of both.
Our day began with a morning walk with Sadie followed by breakfastā¦ round one.
Smoothie bowls!
After downing our smoothies, Ryan and I headed to church before swinging by the grocery store and heading home for breakfastā¦ round two.
Ryan was feeling innovative in the kitchen this morning and decided to make us breakfast bagelwiches.
This bad boy included a Publix bakery whole wheat bagel, bacon, egg, peanut butter and banana slices.
Had it not been for the banana slices, the sandwich wouldāve actually been pretty good, but I just couldnāt get past the odd flavor of the bananas. Ryan had no problem annihilating the whole thing.
After our second breakfast, I made a few batches of almond butter granola before we ran errands around town.
Eventually we took a break for some frozen yogurt from TCBY.
We split a chocolate and caramel parfait and loved every last bite.
TCBY was located right by CVS where a Red Box DVD stand sat outside. After looking at all of the different movie options, I talked Ryan into watching this little gem:
The Biebs. Oh yes.
As a 26-year-old female, Iāve heard about Bieber Fever and all, but never really understood it. I heard Never Say Never was a documentary-style movie about Justin Bieberās rise to fame and was oddly intrigued.
I sold Ryan on the movie (there were slim pickings in the Red Box repertoire) and surprisingly enough, we both enjoyed it!
I am convinced that my 13-year-old self wouldāve loooooved Justin Bieber in the way that I looooved Jonathan Taylor Thomas. Oh, JTT.
Iāve gotta get back to being lazy with my husband and Sadie before Ryan asks me what Iām blogging about and I have to tell him that Iām letting the world know he watched the Justin Bieber movie.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

LOL My JTT was definitely JT (Justin Timberlake). He was such a hottie and had the smooooothest voice š Biebs? Not so much… But maybe I’ll check out his movie just in case he has some redeeming qualities…
That bagelwich is intense!! I don’t know about bacon/eggs and PB! And definitely no to the banana š
Erin @ Naturally Addicted says
O JTT, that really does take me back. I was fully obsessed with him and the blonde-haired kid from Little Giants.. can’t remember his name! I’m not a huge fan of the Biebs, but maybe I need to watch this documentary to change my mind!!
That bagelwich is crazy! Definitely over-the-top. I think it would be delicious without the banana, but hey it’s Sunday… anything goes on Sundays!!

Yummy, your fro-yo from TCBY looks delicious! As for JB, I watched that movie too and aftewards developed a case of “Bieber-fever!” How can you not love him? Props to you for getting the hubby to watch it, my boyfriend nearly put up a kicking and screaming fit when I suggested we watch the movie…I guess he’s not in touch with his manly side. š
Janiek says
I beg you please, don’t catch the Bieber Fever!

JTT! I was convinced I was going to marry him when I got older, and I liked Never say never as well…anddd I could be close to 30 years old š

What a sneaky lady, getting Ryan to love the Biebs. Just as long as he doesn’t grow his hair like Justin’s, I will support this!
Kelly says
HAHA! Ryan is a such a GOOD guy!!!
Audrey Ellen @ My Scene and Herd says
Sounds like such a great sunday! And JTT was my childhood crush as well! I had a giant poster of him on my ceiling that I took from a J-14 magazine.

It’s so funny because I used a free code to get that movie and I thought, hey even if it’s awful, I got it for free! Then I ended up really enjoying the movie! I totally didn’t understand the obsession and I have to agree. I think my tween-self would have been in love. The kind of love I had for JTT, Devon Sawa and Rider Strong.
In fact, I thought the movie was so cute that I made my husband watch parts of it (mostly the beginning where you see how truly talented he is) and he was pretty impressed as well.
Laura says
i cant believe you were able to talk Ryan into that!! LOL glad you enjoyed it tho!
Cathy @ On the Brink of 30 says
I use to love Danny from NKOTB because I felt sorry for him that no one else liked him!
Kara says
That is HILARIOUS …. I just made MY Ryan watch this movie on Sat night. He also watched it with piqued interest … even though he isn’t real keen on telling the whole world … haha. I liked the documentary … and as far as celebs for tweens go … he most definitely isn’t the worst one by far š Crazy how young the little girls are who are professing their love to him though … a bit dysfunctional … aka … 5 year olds. Oh well!
Katy says
Haha…I loved JTT as a teenager as well…my entire room was plastered with dozens of posters of him from “BOP” and “Big Bopper” and “Tiger Beat”…I have a feeling I would have had Bieber Fever as well. š
courtney @ cupcakedynamite says
your overflowing bowls always LOOK good… but I can’t imagine being the one to clean it up!! š

Last night I made first smoothie! Not so great though. LOL Not sure almond milk is going my liquid of choice. However, this morning I tried it with pomegranate juice instead of the milk. Much better. Still have some tweaking to do but I’m on a roll.
