This morning my workout was all over the place!
It was fast-paced, sweaty and very entertaining. Since I was hopping around all over the place, I didn’t have much time to think about how hard I was working, which made the time pass quickly. I left the gym feeling energized and ready for the day. I’ve had a hard time really feeling the fire at the gym lately, so I embraced the post-workout buzz wholeheartedly this morning!
Breakfast
Breakfast this morning was a no-brainer.
I prepared a batch of overnight oats after dinner last night and dug into them this morning after topping them with a sprinkling of unsweetened coconut.
After breakfast, Ryan and I took Sadie on a 20-minute walk around our neighborhood.
We made sure to let Sadie spend some extra time with our neighbor’s dog. Their dog unfortunately isn’t doing too well and it’s heartbreaking to watch him struggle to walk down the driveway to sniff and play with Sadie. Now he just kind of stands there, but his tail wags when we approach and we bring Sadie to him so they can have their morning hello. He’s so darn adorable and I just want to cuddle him all day long. Such a sweetheart. Just a friendly reminder to give your pet a little extra love today!
For those of you who have been reading for a while, have you noticed Sadie’s face is getting whiter? Ryan and I are in denial over any signs of aging in Sadie, so we call her little white hairs her “highlights.” She’s just lightening up her coat a little bit for summer!
Hope you guys have a good Wednesday. Hump Daaaaaay!

Looks like a great workout.
And I love how your overnight oats always look so creamy and delicious. I hate the watery ones!
Awe, I’m sorry to hear about the neighbors dog, it’s always sad to watch pets having a hard time.

Aw, you’re so sweet about your neighbor’s dog 🙂 I just hate to watch dogs age (not hair wise, health wise), and it’s so hard when you can tell they’re struggling. Sadie is a sweet girl, and her highlights just add character and charm! How old is she? Not very, right?

She’s only 5. 🙂

Aww, I’m sorry about your neighbors dog. Sadie sure is one fashionable dog with her “highlights”!

I feel like the majority of my workouts are all over the place, I like it that way though–keeps me from getting bored! nice workout and hope you are having a great week!

My parents dog has been getting ‘lighter’ for summer every year! 🙂 Sadie is too cute in that photo.

My vizsla just turned 6 and his face is as white as Sadie’s. It makes me sad, but my husband loves it. Everyone says he looks ‘distinguished’. I love that Sadie has all the same characteristics of my dog and you and Ryan treat her the same way we treat Tanner. We always say that Tanner has human characteristics and we treat him like our child!

looks like a tough workout!

She’s just getting wise…that’s all! Great workout!

Awe, I think Sadie is aging very gracefully! Any dog that can run five miles and still want to play fetch is definitely doing something right! 🙂 She’s my fitness inspiration!!
Sarah @ Licorice & Olives says
How old is Sadie? She looks very sprightly to me! It is just her summer hair highlights, I like that!
Dee says
It must be the angle of the sun in the picture that’s brightening up Sadie’s face 🙂 but she’s positively glowing with her summer highlights! My black pup has some rockin whites under his lower jaw.. I think it makes him look wiser

Aww, I have such a soft spot for any dog.
Your workout looked tough! Burpees always kill me

I have been looking for a new workout! I always get stuck in the same old routine. Can’t wait to try this one!

It cracks me up how feeble Sadie looks, when clearly she is anything but feeble! 🙂 I think I’m a bit in denial about my dog aging. He’s starting to get white hair around his snout but he’s only 3 1/2 so he’s still very puppy like. I like to pretend he’ll live forever since I can’t imagine life without my little sidekick!

My sweet dog who is almost 7 has a black coat, and more & more white hairs have been popping up, especially on her face.

Aw there’s nothing worse than a struggling pet! We thought we were going to lose our older dog (Leo) last year and I had the worst time over it. We adopted another dog (Darcy) to possibly help him/ease the blow over losing our Leo. Luckily, in the past year, he has almost completely turned around and we have two fur babies to love 🙂

I dont know how to really word this question (sorry!) but what program do you use to actually type up your workouts and put in the cute stars and fonts, etc?
