Last month’s Reebok shoe giveaway was so darn popular that I knew I wanted to feature another one on the blog this month. Since the new Reebok Nano 3.0s seem to be on the top of everyone’s mind at the moment, I reached out to Reebok about a giveaway centered around the new Nanos and they were kind enough to agree!
I actually purchased a pair of Reebok Nano 2.0s on my own before the new Nano 3.0 came out and the company sent me a pair to try before FitBloggin’. Reebok Nanos are my go-to workout shoe most days of the week, unless my workout involves lots of running. The shoe doesn’t have a lot of cushioning and since the midsole material is a flattened platform, it’s thinner which allows your foot to lay flatter and closer to the ground. This increases your stability, making it ideal for functional workouts like CrossFit.
Though Nanos are popular with the CrossFit crowd, I’m not an avid CrossFitter and I still love the Nanos for functional or boot camp-style workouts that I do on my own. I used to feel like I was a bit wobbly during certain exercises like lunges or speed skaters, but when I wear my Nanos, I honestly do feel a lot more stable and can tell a big difference. If you’ve only ever done squats and lunges in traditional running shoes, I think you’ll immediately love the Nanos. The difference in stability is huge!
Plus, the wider toe box makes them super comfortable for days when I am just walking around the gym training clients.
So what’s the deal with the new Nanos?
According to Reebok, the updated shoe has more flexibility and protection to the outsole with Metasplit grooves and RopePro wraps on the medial and lateral sides. Additional highlights include:
- 360° PU Cast for lightweight, seamless, engineered support and durability
- ETC anti-friction lining to reduce abrasion and heat build up with breathable air mesh
- Dual Density for rearfoot stability and impact protection
- Die Cut Ortholite sockliner
- RCF Natural last enables full foot dispersion for greatest stability with Medial/Lateral Rope Guard and multi-directional outsole splay zone
- 4mm heel to toe drop
Are you ready to win a pair of your own?

Good day! I know this is kinda off topic however I’d figured I’d ask.
Would you be interested in exchanging links or maybe guest authoring a
blog article or vice-versa? My blog addresses a lot of the same topics as yours and I think we could
greatly benefit from each other. If you happen to
be interested feel free to shoot me an e-mail. I look forward to hearing from you!
Terrific blog by the way!

I would love to win these shoes since I do a lot of gym workouts and running and my husband thinks that one shoe can be used for all sports so I’m using runners for my strength workouts!

I’d love to win because I need new workout shoes. Since these have a wide toe box and a drop from heel to toe, they’d be perfect.

I would really like to win these shoes because I hurt my knee in April of 2013 playing soccer. Prior to hurting my knee, I had taken up running again and was reminded of why I enjoy the sport so much. I began physical therapy a few months ago and am a few days away from getting cleared to run and dance again by my therapist. Shoes with the awesome support the reebok nano 3.0’s are rumored to have would help give me some peace of mind as I begin testing out and running on my knee again. Thank you!

I would love to win a pair of Nanos because I totally get overwhelmed whenever I go shopping for running shoes. Hence why I only have one pair of gym shoes. The current ones I have (coincidentally are Reebok) have lots of support and I love to wear them for running. Seeing your comments on how the Nanos are better for functional workouts, these would be a great addition to my non-existent collection. I would be so happy if I won these, beyond words!

I’m starting working out and doing crossfit. I’ve been told that these shoes are an awesome fit for doing crossfit. However being a single mom of 2 boys, it’s been hard for me to afford shoes let alone the gym membership. Getting a pair to Jerome and my feet in track starting out would be great. Thanks for your time.
