Hello, hello! How are things in your neck of the woods?
Things have returned to normal in Ocala and while I’ve spent most of the day working, I did manage to squeeze a workout in which felt fantastic.
Today’s workout began on the treadmill with a five-minute warm up walk, followed by 25 minutes of running and a five-minute incline walk to cool down. I covered a little less than 3.5 miles before it was time to head into the weight room to work my shoulders a bit!
I completed a fast workout that focused on four rounds of supersets and looked like this:
- 10 Upright rows + 10 Overhead press
- 10 Lateral raises + 10 Front raises
- 12 Mac raises + 6 Diamond push ups
Simple and to the point!
Lunch
After my workout and breakfast, I worked through the rest of the day until I made it home for lunch and a quick walk with Sadie.
On the menu for today was a fresh spinach salad served with a side of peanut butter-topped banana slices.
I sprinkled some chia seeds on top of the banana slices to add a little crunch.
About halfway through this meal I thought to myself, “This is exactly what I wanted for lunch.” Sometimes I just throw together whatever is easiest for lunch since I usually have to head right back out the door, but today I started daydreaming about a fresh salad and peanut butter on my way home from work, so the moment I walked through the door, I assembled a lunch that totally hit the spot. Listening to cravings for the win!
Now my mind is on dinner and meatloaf is sounding awfully appealing.
Have a great night!

There is nothing better than eating exactly what you are in the mood for! Lately I add peanut butter on something to my lunch to cap it off on a satisfying sweet note (pb on toast, pb on apple etc). Perfect!

Anything with peanut butter always sounds good to me 😉 Recently I’ve also been listening to my cravings and have been making loads and loads of spinach cooked in coconut milk with a tablespoon of peanut butter with loads of curry powder. It always seems to hit the spot on cold, rainy days! 🙂

What specific brand/kind of salad dressings do you normally use? I have a hard time finding ones that are not loaded with calories or sugar.
Thanks so much! 🙂
