Not to be Debbie Downer, but Tuesday is usually one of my least favorite days of the week. On Mondays, I’m still riding the weekend high. Wednesdays are the halfway point of the week, Thursdays are so close to the weekend and Friday is my favorite day of the week! Since Tuesdays are usually kind of meh in my opinion, to brighten this one up, I’m popping in today with a lighthearted survey because blog surveys are kind of my favorite. I love reading them on other blogs and think they’re fun to feature on PBF from time to time, too! Plus, I love reading your survey responses in the comments section!

- Household chore I actually enjoy…
I always joke that I am missing the “clean gene” that some people have that causes them to actually enjoy any part of cleaning. I am not sure if this is a “chore” really, but the one thing I find myself semi-enjoying is cleaning out my closet and dresser and finding clothes/accessories to donate or giveaway. It feels great to create some space in my drawers and closet get rid of clothes I know I will no longer wear. And if I can possibly make a few extra dollars in the process by sending a bag of stuff to Twice and/or ThredUp, I’m a happy camper!
- Biggest house disaster…
Aside from our master bedroom, the other two upstairs bedrooms in our house are kind of a mess. We aren’t really sure how we want to decorate them yet and so they’ve become more or less a storage place in the meantime. We’ll get to it eventually once some inspiration strikes, I’m sure!
- Before company arrives, I hide…
Sadie’s toys! Sadie has a ridiculous number of dog toys and every time Ryan and I go through her big basket to find a few to get rid of, we realize, yet again, that Sadie really does play with all of them, so she gets to keep them because we are gigantic softies. So, yes, she has a billion toys, most of which end up all over our house since she feels the need to greet us with a toy whenever we arrive home.

Jeans. I’m not sure why, but I have the hardest time finding jeans that are flattering and comfortable. Yet another reason why I live in leggings.

Evening walks with Sadie are a favorite of mine! Unless the weather is horrible, Ryan and I almost always take Sadie for an evening walk and I look forward to chatting about the day and enjoying some fresh air with my little family every night.
- I sleep in…
Lately, since we keep our house ridiculously cold in the wintertime, I’ve been sleeping in my favorite Reebok fleece sweatpants and a cheap, comfy baseball tee I bought at Forever 21 a few months ago. I also love pajama sets and wear this one by Aegean Apparel (bought on sale via RueLaLa) to bed all the time. It’s so warm and cozy! And my favorite slippers are a crazy-warm pair of slightly obnoxious gold sparkly slippers from Bearpaw.

Blake Lively. I just love all of her looks!
- I’m currently reading…
Where’d You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple. I actually started it months ago when I was traveling but put it down and totally forgot about it. I picked it back up on Monday night and figured I should just start over since I forget everything that happens in a book 2.5 days after I’m done reading it. I’m loving it so far (just as I did the first time), but I’ll report back with whether or not I’d recommend it once I’ve made my way through the whole book which I definitely should do soon since I’ll be relaxing beachside in Florida for a few days beginning tomorrow afternoon!

A dog. They’re the best. Sadie is a crazy ray of sunshine and make us laugh every single day.

Household chore I actually enjoy… I love purging…at first it seems overwhelming, but once you get started getting rid of unnecessary junk, it is so liberating…also, I enjoy cleaning when I am ticked off or upset…I clean so much better and feel so much better when I am done…
•Before company arrives, I hide… all of my dogs’ bones. My dogs don’t weigh more than 15 lbs combined, but they have a gazillion bones that are of every shape and size and that I step on randomly throughout the night…

Oh my gosh, it’s so cute you mention that Sadie a) plays with all her toys and b) greets you with a toy when you get home, because my dog Molly does the exact same thing!! I too have to hide/put away her toys when guests come… it’s insane how many toys she has, but she really does play with them all! And I am constantly tripping over them, haha
It doesn’t help we have a Barkbox subscription for her and are always buying her toys. We’re not really helping with the toy collection, haha! Do you and Ryan subscribe to Barkbox for Sadie? It’s a pretty cool way to try new treats, plus my dog always gets really excited when her Barkbox arrives. It’s like Stitch Fix… with food… for dogs! 🙂

Household chore I actually enjoy: I’m with you, I don’t really *enjoy* them, per se, but I DO like the good feeling of throwing stuff out! (Ie. clearing out a fridge or something.)

I agree with you on shopping for jeans, if you can find the brand Flying Monkey (usually at boutique stores) they are the comfiest jeans ever – they are so soft/good stretchy but look polished and are usually around $50-$70! I pretty much bought them in every color in my size and have been happy!
Household chore I actually enjoy… laundry! I love how accomplished I feel when it’s all folded and put away and fresh sheets are on the bed. It’s delightful!

I love reading blog surveys, so fun! I hate all chores! Blah! I don’t mind folding the laundry if I can have a show I enjoy watching on without interruptions (doesn’t happen often – I have 3 kids!).
I also hate shopping for jeans! Such a pain! I can never find ones that fit my waist (small) and thighs (muscular). Yuck!
How did I ever live without- I am with ya, my dog! We have had her for almost 8 months and we have a hard time imagining what it was like before we got her!
I enjoy laundry… I get to take breaks while my clothes are in the machines and I can fold a load of laundry while watching trash television. Win win situation in my book haha

Does Sadie have a toy basket? I find it’s so much easier to corral all my dog’s toys in a big soft-sided basket at the end of the day. And she noses through it easily to find which one she wants. She also always greets us with a toy each time we walk through the door! Or, anyone that comes through the door for that matter. “The furniture delivery guys do not want to see your tennis ball, dog!”

On the jean note, have you tried Paige jeans? They are expensive, for sure, but their skinny jeans are my absolute favorite. They never stretch out out no matter how many times you wear them between washes.
A household chore I actually enjoy is folding laundry. As a mother to 4 children there is a LOT of laundry that goes through my washer. I stand at my bed and just fold away. I can’t even explain why I enjoy it. Maybe because the kids don’t bug me. I like things clean and tidy and put away, so maybe it’s the movement in that direction.
