One of the beauties of fish, aside from its great nutritional profile, is its ability to be cooked up in no time at all.
This evening I broiled tilapia, seasoned with Old Bay for less than 10 minutes and it was d-o-n-e!
I ended up adding a big squirt of ketchup because the fish needed a little help and some extra flavor.
I paired the fish with roasted broccoli that I prepared by tossing the veggie in olive oil and garlic salt before roasting it in the oven for 25 minutes at 400 degrees.
It was quite the simple dinner, but it was tasty!
I’m off to hang out with Ryan (who just got home) and my friend Merri who is staying with us for the next couple of days. 🙂

I voted for the dog park! Good luck! The fish looks yummy! I had roasted broccoli for the first time today – I usually steam it, but today I roasted it and put in on a pizza made with sandwich thins!

How exciting that Sadie’s favorite park is up for the makeover! I had wanted to submit an entry for the park in our town, but I didn’t 🙁 . Our park is horrible – if we take our girls, Thea and Bailey, to a dog park, we go elsewhere. A couple of neighboring towns have nice ones. I definitely voted for Sadie’s fave!

I’m not a huge fish eater, but yours does look good. I wish I liked it more simply for how easy it is to prepare.

I love fish I just never make it because A. it can be expensive and B. I hate the smell of fish that lingers in the kitchen. But it’s so good!

I always season my fish with Old Bay – it goes with everything. It’s even good on “fries!”

I will be having talapia tonight!

You think fish is simple? I never have great luck with it, I don’t know if it’s cooking methods or seasoning… I’m thinking seasoning.
