I’m thinking we should start today off with a little cuteness.
Hands down the cutest thing I’ve ever seen in Orlando!
While on my morning walk with Sadie, I called Ryan to tell him about this woman’s t-shirt I saw that said “Sheboygan.” (Long story – Any Wisconsin readers out there?) Anyway, I practically hung up on him to snap this picture with my phone when I saw the two babies hitchin’ a ride on Mama Swan.
Of course I immediately texted the picture to my mom, sister and Ryan.
My mom’s reply? “Are you in Europe?”
Remember those swans?
Fetch me a saddle, I wanna ride one!
Workout
Sadie and I walked around the lake and saw the swans after my morning workout. I began my workout with 25 minutes on the treadmill (15 min. incline walking, 10 min. run) before deciding that was enough cardio for the day. I just wasn’t feeling the whole cardio thang, so I headed upstairs and into a 6 a.m. yoga class.
I haven’t taken a yoga class in the longest time and I felt like even more of an amateur than I usually do. If someone would like to send me some hamstrings that actually stretch, I would be much obliged.
Breakfast
After yoga and a walk with Sadie, I was more than ready for breakfast.
Breakfast came together quickly thanks to some prep work last night.
Uber chocolaty overnight oats!
I think I added a bit too much almond milk to the mix because the overnight oats were a little too liquidy at first. Once I stirred in some frozen banana slices and a scoop of peanut butter, the mixture thickened up a bit and was much more appetizing.
Okay, so it still looks like dung, but it was delicious.
And check this out:
The Keurig, brewin’ like a champ!
I’m loving this machine so far and can’t wait to buy a bunch of flavored coffee pods. I’ve been working my way through the sampler pack that came with the coffee maker and am anxious to get some new flavors to try. Ryan and I also heard that it can make hot chocolate! Who knew?
Time to get crackin’ on today’s to-do list. I have a meeting scheduled with a friend who owns a t-shirt company to discuss those PBF t-shirts I mentioned many moons ago. Should be a fun one!
Adorable! And you are so lovely, as always.
I’m not a coffee drinker but I LOVE our Keurig at home to make a quick cup of tea. 🙂
awwww so so adorable. i’m glad you love the keurig! i’ve been eyeing them for a while and want to buy one JUST because there are so many unique k-cup flavors. you can also make tea and iced tea in there i’ve heard.
I live near Sheboygan… I actually graduated from Sheboygan North High. Such a fantastic city. 🙂 I never fail to run into old high school classmates on a visit to She-vegas.
hahahaha she-vegas. i love it.
I would recommend that you try to fin one of the hot chocolate k cups and try it before you buy a whole box. i did this and was really dissapointed. It is not that chocolatey. I ended up having the add more cocoa powder, it was actually pretty gross. I wont ever buy them, id rather just make hot cocoa from scratch.
Awww that is precious. Very cute! And the oats aren’t quite as cute but they still look delicious. I’m not a huge keurig fan but in the fall, they come out with a pumpkin flavor and it is like the best coffee EVER.
I grew up 15 minutes from Sheboygan 🙂
What an adorable photo! Great way to start the day with all that cuteness. 🙂
We recently got a Keurig at work…I didn’t know they also had tea pods…they covered it all!
Have a wonderful day!
I love the picture of the swans! How adorable! 🙂
I had to laugh at your Sheboygan reference. I live in Milwaukee, WI, and there’s a morning radio show here, Kramp & Adler, that does a feature called “Who’s More Sheboygan?” They basically detail two “out there” stories that they get from weekly police records (the incidents had to have either happened in Sheboygan, and/or the people involved must be from there), and then let listeners vote on who is more “Sheboygan.” (http://www.fm1021milwaukee.com/morning/sheboygan.php)
It is highly amusing! (Or possibly offensive to those from Sheboygan? No offense intended on my part to anyone who might be!)
I live right outside Milwaukee & I LOVE Kramp & Adler’s “Who’s More Sheboygan”. Absolutely hilarious! 🙂
The Keurig has refillable pods you can buy– my family uses the refillable ones to have coffee that we can’t find in the pods (and its cheaper to refill than buy pods!). When I don’t put a pod in it, I use it for hot water to make instant soup, hot chocolate (although you CAN use pods for this), apple cider, tea, etc. Definitely a nifty little machine 🙂
Tshirts! That sounds splendidilly!
And I totally understand- I downward dogged for the first time in a month the other day and my hamstrings are STILL sore. It hurts so good 🙂
So stinking cute! I was inspired by your guest post of Courtney’s blog yesterday and did an interval workout this morning…you should try it!

YES!!! I really want to buy some peanut butter lovin’ clothing!! I always promote your blog to my friends via FB, twitter, word-of-mouth and would love to continue doing so by wearing some clothes etc 🙂 p.s. YOUR blog has completely changed my life!!! xx
I love you and your comments, Kaella! You’re awesome and thank you so much for your support. It means a lot! 🙂
I love how some of the grossest looking things taste the best! :p
I LOVE my Keurig!! There are such a variety of coffe and flavors!!
Coming to you LIVE from Wisconsin 🙂 If you can get past the winters – which seem to be getting longer – it’s a great place to live! I’ve lived here my whole life and won’t be leaving anytime soon (if ever). And I’m a super proud UW-Madison alum – On Wisconsin!
I do have to correct an earlier commenter, though (but it kind of makes it worse). We don’t call them FIPs…It’s FIBs – F***in Illinois Bastards. However, I was schooled when I spent a summer interning in Peoria, IL. It’s actually people from Chicago that we’re trained to dislike in WI. They’re a breed all their own.
On a different note, those swans are super cute! I’m always a little afraid of swans, because I know they can be mean. But how can a bird as sweet as this mama swan be mean??
O.M.G. I’ve never seen baby swans piggybacking on mom like that! That is so freakin adorable!!!!
I must mention that there is also a Cheboygan in Michigan! (spelled differently though). I used to have a t-shirt that said Cheboygan 4H and I loved it so much. My boyfriend now says “Cheboygan!” when he’s mad instead of “SH*T!” It’s hilarious.
You can also buy keurig reusable cups that you can put your own coffee in, so that it isn’t so expensive! 🙂
and those baby swans on the mommas back is the cutest thing ever
Oh my, chocolatey overnight oats…. drooling commences!
I’m excited to see the tshirts! Something tells me I’m gonna want more than just 1!!
I’m from Wisconsin 🙂 I have really tight hamstrings too and the only thing I have found to work is yoga & the foam roller!
Another Wisconsin reader here!!!
Very excited to see the t-shirts, PBF is the best healthy living blog out there!
Thanks so much for sharing your life/thoughts with us everyday 🙂
Yes! I received a Keurig last Christmas, my bf LOVES the hot chocolate pods (he isn’t a coffee drinker).
My current faves are the Donut House and Kona Blend pods. I find that usually Amazon has the cheapest pods (though Bed, Bath, and Beyond has good deals too…especially with the coupon).
Aw those ducks are so cute! I’ve really never seen anything like that before.
I’m more than due for a yoga class. I miss feeling that stretch.
Good luck with the shirts, I’m sure they’re going to be cute 😀
That is the cutest photo I’ve ever seen. Those guys really ride in style!
Those swans are absolutely adorable! I love yoga… I am recently getting into hot yoga. It’s fantastic! I wake up every morning craving my class!
Aren’t those Keurig’s awesome… I love mine and use it all the time. It’s just so much easier when you’re on the go!
I love my Keurig. The mocha and hot chocolate are really good!
Cuuuuuute!
I wanted to tell u that I made enchiladas last (recipe is posted) and used your 2-ingredient Salsa chicken as the filling (plus some beans and veggies). So so so good!!!! 🙂
Awwwwwwh. Baby animals always make my day better.
those babies are sooo cute!!! i would def wear a tank top too!
Super cute!! I love bird family sightings!
My brother, sister and I all came from IL to have our after parties for prom at the Blue Harbor Resort in Sheboygan 🙂 When I started the trend, my group even made a t-shirt that said “Sheboygan: Where The Party’s At” — we thought it was so random since most other ppl went to Lake Geneva or the Dells.
The Keurig is fantastic!! I’m actually thinking of getting a little one for work… in hopes of saving money.
The baby animals are SO cute!
I hear ya! My darn hamstrings….they are so frustrating. I don’t think running helps.
Love the PBF shirts!
awww that is the sweetest thing!! 🙂 and I would totally wear a PBF t shirt
My favorite k-cups are white chocolate macademia nut cookie ones… I can’t think of who makes then right now! I will check when I get home from school!
swans are so gorgeous! And I had a smoothie today for b-fast…..kinda like you. hah
That is the sweetest thing! I love seeing baby birds with their mamas 🙂
Another WI reader! I’m a college student in la crosse…. i have a ton of friends that read your blog too…we love it!… we’d love to see some more posts by ryan! haha… and by the way cheese curds are just all kinds of amazingness 🙂
Go Eagles!
AHH! Those swans are too cute. Thanks for making me smile 🙂
Julie! I love your blog and love that you post three times a day so I can just keep reading! =]
How about some PBF racerback cut tank tops for working out?? Have a blast at your meeting – love the idea!
-Electra
The salon I go to has that coffee machine and during the holidays they had caramel Apple cider…best I ever had! It’s a must try !!
LOVE my Keurig! Newman’s Own has really tasty coffee (and I feel good about buying it too!) If you buy the Hot Cocoa on Amazon (I bought the Green Mountain for the boyfriend who doesn’t like coffee – and wasn’t aware it was a double pack, so 96 k-cups of hot cocoa that have yet to be consumed… so beware!) 🙂
Enjoy!
awwwww! That is the sweetest picture ever! I love it!
Omg that swan picture is so adorable!! I will be immediately sharing it with my mom too!
And your overnight oats look good! But I feel like I must be missing something bcuz I think I’m the only blogger that doesn’t like them! Maybe I need to try again!!
Keurig also carries iced coffees and flavours of iced teas. You can go on their web site and see all the different options and order directly – we found it abit cheaper than buying them at the store.
I NEED a Keurig. Immediately. My dad’s GF has been hounding him to buy me one for months!
the keurig also makes chai tea that is delicious! Those things are ahhh-mazing!
Ohhh my that picture is so cute, I would have hung up on someone to take a picture of that too! 🙂
Oh, the hot chocolate is delicious!!!
Just discovered your blog and I LOVE it!! 🙂
PS – I have to agree that the mama and baby swan picture is PERFECT! Too much cuteness!!
Anna
I suggest trying Butter Toffee pods for the keurig! Those are my faves.
And.. oats that look like dang usually taste best 🙂
