Good morning party people!
How is your Tuesday going so far? Things are shaping up quite nicely over here!
Ryan and I woke up early to sneak in our workout before the madness of the day sets in. I did a workout that was very similar to the Hot Holidays Workout I completed last week, but I omitted the push ups because I just wasn’t feeling them this morning.
And now, as I sit here blogging, all I can think about is foam rolling. That needs to happen at some point today.
Breakfast
Breakfast this morning was an egg white and oatmeal protein pancake topped with a sliced banana.
I also had a hot mug of coffee on the side but instead of adding my usual almond milk to my cup, I added a splash of eggnog for some festive flare!
Judging by the fact that my coffee was almost gone by the time I snapped a photo, I think you can safely assume I liked it.
Now it’s off to work!

Ali @ Peaches and Football says
I’ve had eggnog in coffee before and it’s delicious. 🙂 Usually I do stevia in my morning coffee. You can get so many delicious flavors so I am enjoying a cappucino Keurig flavor and adding the peppermine stevia to that – tastes like a peppermint mocha.
Becky @ Olives n Wine says
I typically drink my coffee and tea plain but I love the idea of throwing something festive in like eggnog 🙂 Happy Tuesday!
Melissa says
Adding eggnog to coffee does sound yummy! For me, I absolutely LOVE adding sugar-free vanilla syrup to my coffee! The brand Torani and Da Vinci are my favorites to use. They make each mug of coffee taste like dessert!
Shel@PeachyPalate says
Vanilla nu naturals stevia is a great in camomile tea!
peanutbutterfingers says
I love that stuff, too!
Jessica K says
I like adding honey and fresh squeezed lime/lemon to tea!
skigirl0891 says
I was just bloggin about this! Peanut butter in coffee! I ordered the peanut butter cup coffee I saw on your blog and added some extra flavor with a half tablespoon of PB, yum!
P.s-Disclaimer: There will be sludge left at the bottom, do not drink!
peanutbutterfingers says
I’ve never tried that! Would you recommend it? I’m kind of sketched out! 🙂
skigirl0891 says
I would try it at least once! It is a bit sketchy, lol and it is aromatic (if you can say that about peanut butter, haha!). The peanut butter cup coffee didn’t pack enough PB punch, so I add the dollop and it kicks it up a notch for sure.
Linz @ Itz Linz says
i looooooved flavored creamers! love love love!
Beckett @ Birchwood Pie says
Usually just a splash of half and half, but eggnog is going on the list of things to try.
Sarah @ Sweet Miles says
I would never have thought to add in eggnog! I’m usually a drink my coffee black kind of girl, but all those fancy coffees at starbucks that involve yummy cinnamon and other flavors are always tempting!
Kate @ Quarter Century Southern Living says
I am not much of a coffee drinker, so what I add to it usually ends up being the same amount of the coffee itself and then it hardly seems worth it 🙂
Sara @ sarasmiles says
I recently heard to add some coconut butter to your coffee for some creaminess and sweetness (for no added sweeteners). I haven’t tried it yet, but I probably will soon!
Megan says
I normally drink my coffee black but this week I bought some vanilla coconut milk, deilsh!
Paige @ Your Trainer Paige says
I think eggnog in coffee is a fabulous idea! And you just reminded me I need to pick up some eggnog 😉
Linda @ Running4two says
I have a coffee every morning. Not so much for the caffeine, but I just love the taste and the warmth! I usually add stevia and french vanilla creamer. I’ve also been known to enjoy white chocolate mocha and pumpkin spice creamer too :).
Jana @ Happy Wife Healthy Life says
I love adding to my coffee, especially this time of the year! Eggnog, peppermint mocha creamer, hot cocoa mix, and heavy whipping cream (just a splash does wonders!) are some of my favorites!
Sara @ LovingOnTheRun says
I usually just add creamer BUT recently I have been adding protein powder and really enjoyed it!
Ashley says
That vulture.com link is hilarious! Thanks for making me laugh this morning. My boyfriend and I saw Catching Fire right when it came out, and after the movie I said to him “ever notice how Peeta just SUCKS?” It’s so true!!
Miranda @ Lovely Wife Lovely Life says
I always do coffee creamer! I’ve never tried eggnog before, ever. I think it NEEDS to happen this year!
sanaz@runforcake says
You MUST try the Soy Coconut Nog. It is so delicious! I made French toast with it this weekend and it was yummy yummy!
Ashley says

I’m not a coffee drinker, but I do love tea. I usually add fresh lemon juice or some honey (sometimes agave) to sweeten it up a bit.
Katie @ Peace Love and Oats says
I’m pretty simple: just almond milk! Although when I’m at Starbucks I love adding a little cinnamon!
Jessica says
Adding in cool whip or ice cream is a delicious treat for the holidays! It just melts in the hot coffee and tastes like heaven!
Jessica says
MMMM egg nog is a wonderful seasonal addition! I love to do A-milk with a bit of sweetener and extract of some sort – almond is my fav!
karen @fabinyour40s.com says
Bailey’s Irish Cream is always delish in your coffee. Not before work though 🙂 Or maybe, depending on your job. LOL
sara @ fitcupcaker says
Ive added protein powder to mine and really liked it!
Chelsea @ A Fit LittleOne says
I’m going to have to look at that Hunger Games link!
I don’t like to add anything to my hot tea, but cold tea, I add a packet of powdered lemonade (to 16 oz of tea), and I refuse to make coffee haha it never turns out well!
Kristen @ notsodomesticated says
I’m boring … I just add milk to my coffee. Even though I have a massive sweet tooth, I have no interest in sugar or flavored creamers in my coffee. I’m weird like that. 😉
Maureen says
Just a few drops of stevia and a splash of half & half in my coffee. Boring, but it does the trick!
Ashley @ My Food N Fitness Diaries says
I make it simple with a little half & half. Sometimes I mix it up with just a little heavy whipping cream…mmmmm! I used to go crazy with all of the flavored creamers, but they’re almost too sweet for my liking these days. Every once in awhile, I’ll enjoy some if I’m feeling more of a dessert-y kind of coffee.
Kaylyn says
My favorite is the Archer Farms Toasted Hazelnut coffee – so it has lots of great flavor as it is. I drink it plain- but how fun to add egg nog. YUM!
Jamie @ Dishing Out Health says
I just recently tried Pumpkin Pie Cream Liqueur with a pinch of pumpkin pie spice in my coffee as a post-dinner night cap.. ahh-mazing! Great for a fun holiday treat 🙂
amber says
i tried eggnog for the first time yesterday… ewwww! lol. i could not drink it! maybe i’ll try it in coffee!
Cassie @RedLetterDaye says
My favorite place for quick coffee offers egg nog during the holidays, and it’s my fave! So good. 🙂
Diana says
I am a stevia and milk person in my morning coffee. I like getting flavored coffees and keeping the fixin’s simple. 🙂
Sarah Whitney says
I love the nutty flavor almond milk gives to black tea. I’m a recent almond milk convert, and I’m loving the switch!
Court Star @ StarSystemz says
So my goal lately with coffee has been to omit almond milk/soy milk whatever so I have experimented with adding cinnamon, coco powder and nutmeg and the addition of all three makes up for the loss of milks. I am loving coco powder it makes for a delish coffee! Lots of Love your way xo C
Natalie @ Free Range Human says
Oh gosh! I definitely need to foam roll today too. I’ve been neglecting it.
Ali says
I jumped on the Teavana train and now I’m obsessed! I could drink gallons of their chai/oolong mix. Yum!
Diana says
I’ve always loved mixing flavored coffee with regular coffee.. just a hint of a different flavor(pumpkin my fave!). A splash some whole milk and I’m all set!
Tori says
I just got Creme de Vanilla stevia drops. My new fave!
Kelly @ Kelly Runs for Food says
Not the healthiest, but I love flavored creamers. I like peppermint mocha right now!
Ashley says
I used to love flavored creamers, then went for straight milk, and now I just drink it black. Who knew?!
Alex @ Cookie Dough Katzen says
I’ll have to try a splash of eggnog. I like adding the vanilla powder to my coffee at Starbucks.
Jackie says
Cinnamon is good!
Ashley @ BrocBlog says
I usually stick with a bit of milk but sometimes I go crazy with it and add all kinds of flavor like mint or caramel.
Amanda @Fitforgloryfoundbygrace says
oooo I’ll have to try that! I LOVE putting pumpkin pie spice in with my coffee grounds. It makes a HUGE difference!!
joelle (on a pink typewriter) says
Oh man, for most of my run this morning, all I could think about was foam rolling. My quads and hamstrings were so tight! How does that happen?!
James says
hahaha ohhh Peeta…Poor guy just wanted to paint pictures and make cakes pretty but the Capital just wasn’t having it.
peanutbutterfingers says
Oh I know!! That article cracked me up!
Taylor @ Singletrackedmind says
I normally add half and half and whatever sweetener is around to my coffee.
Foam rolling is such a necessary evil!
BrooklynBeet says
I’m so boring – I just drink my coffee black! I’m more adventurous with tea – sometimes a splash of milk makes a huge difference for me.
The Peeta list is amazing. I think he’s much cuter in the second movie though, so I’m more forgiving 😉
