I knew I’d be working through lunch and dinner today, so I figured I’d make a meatloaf in the morning so I’d have a tasty lunch and dinner that I could easily reheat when I got hungry.
Ground turkey served as the base of my meatloaf and I incorporated one of my favorite kinds of barbeque sauce, Bone Suckin’ Sauce, into the meatloaf to amp up the flavor. It was delicious!

Recipe adapted from Cooking Light’s Turkey Mini Meat Loaves
You could easily use lean ground beef in place of the turkey if you prefer, but it was quite flavorful with the turkey. I’m a fan!
Looks delicious! I’m a big fan of BBQ sauce (I believe everything tastes better with it), so I would love to make this recipe. Thanks for sharing!
I don’t ever think that meatloaf looks very good, you know?! But it always sounds good and usually tastes wonderfully too…My Andy’s favorite food is meatloaf so I’m always trying out new meatloaf recipes 🙂
meatloaf is always hideous!! but i love it!
yummmm that just made me so hungry!
I am a HUGE fan of dinner foods for breakfast. Whenever I’m really hungry in the morning, it only makes sense to eat something filling and full of protein that would usually be considered dinner food, that’s how i look at it. this looks soo good!
We are having meatloaf for dinner too…weird. I’ll use your recipe 🙂 xox
I would say this looks delicious… but it’s meatloaf. It does sound really good though, I like the idea of making it bbq flavor. I hate ketchup so any meatloaf recipe that skips that sounds great to me!
That looks amazing! I used to be kind of afraid of meatloaf when I was younger until I lived in Italy and had the most amazing meatloaf ever. Now I always am up for trying different versions at restaurants but still haven’t made it myself!

It’s been so long since I’ve had meatloaf for dinner! It’s one of those meals that I always hated as a kid, but as an adult sometimes I randomly crave it. I’ve never made my own though, this one looks great!
Adding BBQ sauce to meatloaf is a fabulous idea! I will have to try this out with my vegetarian “meatloaf!” 🙂

YUM! I love meatloaf and make one every other week because its so tasty when re-heated and goes quite well with a side of veggies or on top of a salad! I am DEF trying this as my variety has gotten old..it needs a little BBQ flava 🙂 Love + Shine CourtStar
it has probably been mentioned before, but it was fun to be reading an aritlce on Tips from Food Bloggers and see a familiar name (and first!). congrats on the extra exposure in a widely read mag!
YUM!!! I would love to go home and see my mom taking this loaf out of the oven and say, “dinner’s ready” – But who am I kidding, my mother doesn’t cook and I haven’t been home since XMAS – LOL, I am delusional!
This is so funny! I just told my hubby yesterday that I missed my mom’s turkey meatloaf. I wish I could recreate it, but our oven broke in April. 🙁 I wonder if turkey meatloaf is possible in the crockpot?
I do the same thing when I know that I am busy…cook in the morning! It still kind of feels weird cooking a savory “dinner” type dish in the early morning, but whatever works so there is healthy and yummy food ready to go!!!
The second I saw this I yelled ” would you eat a turkey meatloaf?!” to my husband haha 🙂 it looks fabulous and easy.. plus I already have all of the ingredients so score!
I haven’t had any form of meatloaf in years! This one looks yummy though, and healthy!

Johnny Galecki was also “Rozanne”‘s youngest daughters boyfriend in the sitcom. Now that is dating me!
I made this the other night and it was a huge hit with the whole family! Even my really picky little sisters! Thanks for the recipe.
