Ryan, Sadie and I spent the remainder of our morning on a 3.5 mile hike on our favorite bear, alligator and snake-laden trails.
The wildlife we saw on today’s walk was limited to squirrels and lizards. Vicious beasts!
Lunch
On our way home from the trails, we ran a few errands and grabbed the necessary ingredients for homemade pizza. I think Ryan was a little jealous of my delicious looking veggie pizza from last night and he was craving pizza this afternoon.
When we arrived home, we prepared a pizza topped with spinach, pizza sauce, mozzarella, Italian chicken sausage and avocado.
We didn’t add the avocado until the pizza came out of the oven because we were unsure how it would hold up in 475-degree heat.
I ate three slices of the pizza along with a sliced apple.
Even after eating pizza two times in less than 24 hours, I feel like I could easily eat it again for dinner tonight.
You can never have enough of the good stuff!

An apple with almond butter! Or greek yogurt with banana slices.
Besides anything with peanut butter, I would have to say a yogurt parfait: some plain Greek yogurt, honey and cinnamon, some fresh berries, and a spoonful of homeade granola. Yum!
My favorite snack is a chocolate milkshake comprised of 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1/2 teaspoon of stevia/truvia, and ice cubes. Occasionally, I’ll also add some spinach, frozen banana, or even avocado.
I love greek yogurt or apples as a snack!
My all-time favorite healthy snack involves anything with White Chocolate Peanut Butter, bananas, frozen yogurt and homemade trail mix/granola. Actually, all of the above combined sounds amazeballs!! 🙂
Oh wonderful! My favorite healthy snack has to be spinach smoothies! With a banana and some chocolate protein powder, you can’t beat it 🙂
I think we can all say that pb fingers are the best healthy snack! 🙂 but other than that I can also sniff out any hummus within a mile radius. Obsessed with the stuff!

My favorite healthy snack is plain fage greek yogurt with lots of cinnamon and a spoonful of nut butter mixed in. So thick, creamy, and filling!
Awesome give-a-way. Not sure if I’m eligible as I’m in Canada but worth a try. My favorite healthy snack is homemade energy bars with dates, cashews, pumpkin seeds and Vega Chai Vanilla flavored protein powder or kale chips with chilli powder and nutritional yeast.
