Ryan, Sadie and I spent the remainder of our morning on a 3.5 mile hike on our favorite bear, alligator and snake-laden trails.
The wildlife we saw on today’s walk was limited to squirrels and lizards. Vicious beasts!
Lunch
On our way home from the trails, we ran a few errands and grabbed the necessary ingredients for homemade pizza. I think Ryan was a little jealous of my delicious looking veggie pizza from last night and he was craving pizza this afternoon.
When we arrived home, we prepared a pizza topped with spinach, pizza sauce, mozzarella, Italian chicken sausage and avocado.
We didn’t add the avocado until the pizza came out of the oven because we were unsure how it would hold up in 475-degree heat.
I ate three slices of the pizza along with a sliced apple.
Even after eating pizza two times in less than 24 hours, I feel like I could easily eat it again for dinner tonight.
You can never have enough of the good stuff!

My go to snack is usually an apple and some dairy (greek yogurt, string cheese, cottage cheese)

My favorite snack would be Trader Joe’s whole wheat bread. I take 1 slice and toast it, then I mash 1/2 of an avocado while the bread is still warm and drizzle only a LITTLE sriracha sauce for a kick. Its a perfect mixture of carbs and fats and the avocado taste so good when it is slightly warm from the toast. Its a great healthy, creamy, salty snack, you must try it you would love it!
