Ryan, Sadie and I spent the remainder of our morning on a 3.5 mile hike on our favorite bear, alligator and snake-laden trails.
The wildlife we saw on today’s walk was limited to squirrels and lizards. Vicious beasts!
Lunch
On our way home from the trails, we ran a few errands and grabbed the necessary ingredients for homemade pizza. I think Ryan was a little jealous of my delicious looking veggie pizza from last night and he was craving pizza this afternoon.
When we arrived home, we prepared a pizza topped with spinach, pizza sauce, mozzarella, Italian chicken sausage and avocado.
We didn’t add the avocado until the pizza came out of the oven because we were unsure how it would hold up in 475-degree heat.
I ate three slices of the pizza along with a sliced apple.
Even after eating pizza two times in less than 24 hours, I feel like I could easily eat it again for dinner tonight.
You can never have enough of the good stuff!

I love Greek yogurt with some Kashi GoLean cereal mixed in.
My favorite snack has the crunch factor that I crave… KALE CHIPS!! (Wash and dry kale before breaking the leaves into chip size pieces. Next, drizzle kale with a little bit of olive oil and sprinkle with seasalt. Bake the chips until the edges are a little brown, usually 10 minutes, and then chow down!! 🙂 Sometimes I’ll even dip these guys into some homemade guacamole…so good!!!

My absolute favorite snack is definitely banana slices with almond butter and a glass of milk! I love it so much that I crave it almost everyday!

I like to cut up an apple and sprinkle cinnamon on it, then let it sit for a while so the cinnamon soaks in a bit. Or Greek Yogurt with a bit of ranch dressing powder to dip veggies in.
