If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, then you likely know of my love for Tina’s Best Body Boot Camp.
Tina is a certified personal trainer, blogger and mom to two adorable kids. She is genuine, thoughtful and incredibly kind… but she will kick your butt!
Tina created Best Body Boot Camp several months ago and I signed up for her first round, not quite sure what to expect.
She promised eight weeks of original workouts for only $25. I knew what she was offering would typically cost a million times more than $25, so I signed up figuring I could use her workouts as inspiration if they weren’t exactly my style.
I ended up loving her workouts and have since participated in every round of boot camp! The boot camp workouts are fast-paced and challenging (but scalable to all fitness levels!) and since they change every two weeks, I am constantly excited to see what’s coming next which keeps me engaged in the program.
The boot camp works like this:
Every two weeks, Tina emails participants new workouts with detailed instructions and links to online videos to watch in case you’re unsure about certain exercises or want to be sure your form is correct. She also offers alternative exercises for participants to do if they want to scale the workouts back or push themselves a little bit more. Many of her workouts can be done at home as long as you have some basic exercise equipment like free weights and an exercise ball.
Tina also offers cash prizes to participants throughout the boot camp and entries are based on how many workouts you complete and points you earn from two additional goals you set for yourself (such as drinking more water, eating more vegetables, etc.).
A Best Body Boot Camp Facebook group was also created by Tina for participants to use to ask questions, motivate each other and share challenges or motivational tips.
Registration for round three of the Best Body Boot Camp is open right now through October 15. Round three will officially begin on October 22 and last through December 16.
Ready for the good news?
THREE PBF readers will win a FREE entry into round three of Best Body Boot Camp.
To enter this giveaway, simply comment on the post below, telling me what you look for in a new workout plan. I’ll announce the three winners on Monday morning.
Good luck!
I sometimes allow myself to overschedue more in my day that I care to admit and that yields to an array of excuses not to exercise and make healthy food choices. So to encourage me to begin and stay engaged in a workout, I would love to see Rigor, Encouragement, Substance, Ultimate, Love, Tina, and Sweat…all these equal RESULTS and that is ultimately what I look for and need in a workout! 😉
Variety is the spice of life! I get bored very quickly and love the idea of switching things up every 2 weeks (my kickboxing class does the same thing!) I broke my leg and severely sprained my ankle in late February and it’s been a long road to recovery :-/ let’s just say getting back on the workout wagon has been a chore. So when you blogged about Tina’s best body boot camp I was instantly excited to sign up for the next cycle!
On an unrelated note, I LOVE your blog! I have never been hooked on a blog before and now my day doesn’t feel complete if I haven’t checked in on you, Ryan and Sadie (creepy?) keep up the good work!
I always look forward to something that will challenge me and leave me feeling like an accomplished and sweaty person by the end of it! Variety is key 🙂
As a new mommy of a precious Vizsla an at home work out that is flexible enough to keep me interested and allow me to keep an eye on her sounds perfect!
I look for variety & cardio burn in new workouts! Theres nothing I love more than the combo of strength with cardio is the best 🙂
Boot camp sounds amazing! I look for something that changes just enough day to day to keep it interesting without being so complicated that I lose interest. I would love to take on Tina’s challenge!
I think my body may be very over doing the same thing day after day, I need to change things up! New fun workouts that challenge my body would be great!
I look for a workout that makes me push myself and makes me feel like I accomplished something after. The empowering feeling I get is like nothing else!
Love a new challenge! And I love learning new twists on basic exercises.
I’d love to enter! I look for workouts where I get to switch things up every day, and work in core strengthening exercises each day!
I look to be challened ad motivated by new workouts! I also love having a plan and someone motivating me to complete it! 🙂 i love to keep my body guessing!
I would love to win! I like challenges and this would certainly keep me motivated as the weather gets cooler.
What a great prize! I like variety with my workouts. I get bored very easily! I also like when the workouts use basic, but effective exercises. Nothing too crazy!! 🙂
I look for variety and a challenge each day to keep things fresh and motivating!
Variety! I get bored doing the same workouts for too long!
I love a challenge but I especially love learning a new move that I can incorporate into other workouts later. Fun!
I look for a work out that challenges me, teaches me something new and keeps me from feeling bored while I’m doing it.
I really need to mix up my routine. I love a challenge and regimented plan that will keep me motivated!
I am still trying to lose baby weight 3 years later and would love a boost like this boot camp!
This is a great giveaway! I’d love to try boot camp. I look for something that is not repetitive – I can’t get motivated to just do the same DVD or plan every day. It makes me not even bother to start working out!
When I start a new exercise routine, I look for variety because I get bored easily. More importantly though, I look for results.
I look for something that will challenge me, keep me on my toes, and will bring me thaaaaat much closer to your (yes you, Julie!) dream body!
When I try a new workout, I look for something that isn’t SUPER intimidating. I have a lot of weight to lose, so I don’t like seeing exercises that I’ve never heard of and don’t know how to do.
I need the motivation to get back to the gym…without a plan, I feel so lost!
PLUS, who doesn’t love sore muscles and a way to work off holiday calories;)
I’ve been definitely needing some more motivation to get myself to the gym each day and I think having a specific program would really help me out, so I don’t under-do or over-do at the gym!
oh Julie – this is awesome!! I would need this pretty bad haha
in workouts in general Im looking for versatility, fun and maximum effectiveness in the least amount of time. Is that too much to ask for? haha
It sounds like a really cool program. I’d love to give it a try. I’ve been looking for something new and challenging in my workouts.
I look for workouts that keep me interested and focus on toning! Boot camp sounds right up my alley 🙂
I’ve always wanted to do workouts that are apart of a boot camp program! Perfect boredom buster for my half marathon training!
I love circuit workouts!
I am looking for some new strength moves! This body bootcamp sounds like the perfect way to kick-up my workout routine!
i look for something that will be fun and keep me coming back for more!
In a new workout plan I love a challenging combination of resistance training that I have not done much of and cardio. I like to have my heart rate and get in some good weight lifting at the same. No boring workouts for me!
I love a fast-paced workout that is well-rounded and keeps my interest. This sounds right up my alley!
I have to have variety! Long repititions of the same 3 exercises won’t cut it for me. My attention span is short 🙂
This is actually such perfect timing because I myself feel like I am in a workout rut right now! I just changed gyms due to location problems and my old routines are just not working for me in my new gym. When I am starting up a new routine I really need to have something challenging to keep me interested and to really have specific goals to meet in mind to keep me motivated.
I look forward to learning new to me moves or workout ideas, and something that changes things up so I don’t get bored.
Ooo! I’d love to do this since I’m starting school teaching prac and won’t be able to make my typical group fitness classes. Typically I look for a challenge and something that will keep it interesting- I get bored easily and if I think it’s boring I won’t end up doing it!
something that is fun and isn’t too challenging to figure out!
I definatly need a change up in my workouts!! I just don’t know where to start or what wil lwork after doing the same thing for so long! I just attend the gym and do Body Pump classes but I’ve defiantly reached a platau and will love some help changing it up from Tina!
I look for a plan with variety. It gets me excited to go to the gym each day!
I run pretty much every day and would love to try something different!
I love a plan where simple gets mixed in with the difficult every so often and the work out is condensed down into a 20 minute workout! There’s nothing better than thrashing a set of squats and then moving on to weighted lunge jumps and feeling like a total work out BEAST at the end! 😀
I’m looking for something fun and upbeat! I get tired of running and doing yoga. Something different would be great!
I look for something that will challenge and excite me!
Ive been wanting to try Tina’s bootcamp because I love when my workouts are
Planned out for me. Sadly I’m 18 and in college, currently jobless lol. I’m looking forward workouts that make me feel sore all over, workouts that challenge me and most importantly workouts I actually enjoy doing:)
I am always on the lookout for new challenges and have been wanting to try Tina’s bootcamp since you wrote about it in your blog. It would be nice to have the exercises chart out for you. It excites me !
For me, new workout plans are all about learning more about my body, it’s capabilities, strengths and weaknesses……and getting the BURN on! Wooo for jelly legs!
I love weight training, but I don’t push myself hard enough. So I’m looking for a workout thats challenging but fun, creative and motivating! 🙂
I look for new exercises and exercises that will challenge me! I tend to do the same strengthening exercises over and over.
