Dinner tonight was fit for an 8-year-old.
I enjoyed a peanut butter and jelly sandwich made with Skippy Natural peanut butter and Polaner blueberry fruit spread.
I cut my pb&j into triangles to really hammer-home the childhood theme of this dinner. 😀
On the side I enjoyed a cup of fresh blueberries and a small bowl of Smartfood white cheddar popcorn.
Ryan and I wanted to keep dinner nice and simple tonight because he is still in bachelor cruise-recovery mode and I’m enjoying layin’ around on the couch with him since I missed his handsome face!
I have a feelin’ we’ll be hittin’ the hay a little early tonight.
Oh, and just FYI for all you JTT fans out there, Man of the House is on right now. 😉
Glad I’m not the only one who loves PB&J for dinner. Hope you have a great night!
oh my gosh, jtt was going to be my husband…i was SO SURE of it! thank God that didn’t happen… 🙂
Aww the pb&j is soooo cute!!!! I have a serious addiction to anything peanut buttery and/or chocolatey!!=D Half the time I don’t even bother with the jelly and just have a pb sandwich……..or pb and apple……….or pb and banana, you get the picture. Anyway, I LOVE this blog and first started reading it because of the fact that it’s got peanut butter in the name =D
I love dinners like that sometimes too! Gotta love pb and j!
Can’t beat a classic PB&J!

oooh i love JTT! he’s the best 🙂
Sounds like a great night to me. 🙂
Sometimes simple dinners are the best!! Also, you had your sandwich on a sandwich thin. That makes it a bit more adult 😀
Thanks for introducing me to the deliciousness that is a (in my peanut allergy world) almond butter and apple sandwiches on arnold thins! Changed my life! 🙂
Hands down the best childhood dinner EVER! Besides mac n cheese 😉
I love that you cut your sandwich into triangles!
Oh yum I love peanut butter and jelly. After seeing a pic of it I am really tempted to make one. They’re so delicious. Especially since I’m a college student, I’ll be making them all the time.
I love simple dinners – yum!
Well, kids do eat the best! Looks GREAT to me 🙂
PBJ and JTT? Sign me up =)
I really wish I had access to those little bread thins…They look awesome 😀
there is a reason why pb&j is a classic.
Hi Julie!
Just wanted to say that my mom and I made your pancakes made with greek yogurt. We added in some fresh Maine blueberries too. Delish! Keep those recipes coming! 🙂
Oooh, I forgot to add: I’m curious about your protein mix that you add to your smoothies and recipes. Maybe a little tutorial on the purpose/benefits of it??? I’m not up to speed on that sort of thing. Thanks!
Oh Man of the House.. brings me back to the days when I was hard core in love with JTT… loved his raspy little voice!
Would it be wrong if I said I still had my JTT posters on my wall? No I’m just kidding! But for real I for sure used to have posters of him and Devon Sawa when I was younger!
I love Man Of the House. One of my favorite movies set in my hometown!
