Happy One Day ‘Til Friday! Weee!
My day began the easy-breezy way with a very light workout at the gym. Ryan and I hopped on side-by-side ellipticals to pound out some cardio and about 10 minutes into my workout, I remembered that I am participating in a 5k tonight! The race is taking place in downtown Orlando and 15,000 people are expected to be running. It’s a corporate 5k, so companies all over Central Florida have created teams within their offices.
Since I was already at the gym and didn’t want to leave without Ryan, I spent a total of 30 minutes on the elliptical and kept things very light so I’ll have plenty of energy for tonight’s race.
I selected a magazine from the magazine rack and zoned out while peddling away.
Orlando Leisure from April 2004? Can you tell there were slim pickings today?
The magazine managed to keep me amused, especially when I stumbled upon a fashion article, subtitled “timeless elegance.”
Someone please tell me what it is about this outfit that says “timeless elegance” because I am at a loss.
I’m pretty sure JWoww would be all over that little number.
Breakfast
After my not-so-sweaty gym session, I came home, took Sadie on a quick walk, showered and headed into the kitchen.
I popped a Thomas’ cinnamon raisin bagel thin in the toaster and let it brown while I sliced a frozen banana.
I topped the toasted bagel with a smear of peanut butter, banana slices, nutmeg and chia seeds.
My grandma knit that blue pot holder that I used as my napkin. She’s so talented! She’s also the mastermind behind a scarf that once appeared on the Fashion page.
This breakfast hit the spot! I’m not gonna lie though… I kind of missed my usual smoothie.
Time for work. I have a package to drop off at UPS, so I gotta boogie!
Stay tuned for an amazing guest post this afternoon. If you love to travel (especially to Europe) I have a feeling you’re gonna love it!

Good luck on your 5K! As for those “elegant” 04 fashion selections, LOL! Obvi they didn’t have a PB Fingers fashion page to consult for guidance! 🙂

I used to hate the lame magazine selection at my gym! I would be stuck with a rack full of AARP Magazine while the desk staff would be hoarding all of the good stuff (and by good stuff, I mean US Weekly, etc.). But it sounds like you made the best of it!
