This one is coming to you later than I would’ve liked but, on the bright side, I’ve included a few last-minute gift ideas and a bunch of items with super-fast shipping (thank you, Amazon Prime!) just in case you’re still scratching your head and trying to figure out what to get for the father figures in your life to show them a little love this Sunday!
I hope you find something that appeals to you below and if you have any other awesome ideas for great gifts, experiences or homemade surprises you think dads out there would love, please let me know in the comments section of this post so we can continue to get ideas from each other!
Father’s Day Gift Guide
How cool is this bag!? It’s a backpack that can transform into a duffel bag with lots of compartments, including a separate padded laptop compartment and a compartment for shoes/dirty clothes. Ryan is a notoriously light packer and since I think it’s his goal in life to never have to check a bag, this backpack is something I nabbed for him to use for weekend trips and quick getaways.
This thing is SO darn handy! It’s a cordless screwdriver that automatically starts when you push down, making it incredibly intuitive. I swear every time Ryan uses it he makes some comment about how much he loves it. We actually got one for my dad and brother-in-law for Christmas as well because it’s basically a dream screwdriver to have around the house. It makes everything easier from furniture assembly to tackling random household projects.

Comfy Slides
Ryan bought his Adidas slides years ago and held onto them for years and, wouldn’t you know, they’re back in style again! There’s no denying a pair of slides are some of the comfiest sandals you can buy and with no shortage of options out there, it’s easy to find a pair to fit the personal style of the father figure in your life. Ryan’s all about the sporty look but Birkenstocks, camo slides or Vans slides are also a great option. (Vans also makes matching father/son slides. My heart!)
We love and trust YETI products big-time in our house and this cooler backpack seems like a dad’s dream! It seems useful for so many things, whether it be trips to the beach or pool, tailgating adventures, camping trips, etc., I can see dads all over loving this cooler backpack for so many activities. And the fact that it allows you to have access to both of your hands is a huge dad perk when you’re trying to wrangle little ones, too!

Surprise Car Detailing
I included this one in a past Father’s Day gift guide but had to mention it again this year because it’s one of those random things that seems to be a hit with so many dads out there. (It’s also the ultimate last-minute gift idea!) Tip: Check Groupon for great detailing deals! I found a great guy to detail our cars through Groupon and he came to our house to do both cars which was awesome and still very affordable.

Fun Socks with Meaning
I’ve always loved giving Ryan quirky, unique socks for pretty much any holiday but now that we have kids, it’s even better because I can rope them into the fun! Chase loved picking out a pair of t-rex socks for Dad for Father’s Day last year and selected some shark socks for him for Christmas. I’m not sure what socks Chase will choose this time around, but it’s always fun to try to find a quirky pair of socks for Ryan that also have some kind of meaning. And if quirky socks aren’t Dad’s thing, you cannot go wrong with a pair of BOMBAS athletic socks. I have my entire family (men and women alike) hooked on them!

If Ryan is a big sock lover you should check out DivvyUp Socks. I ordered a pair for my husband with my girls faces on them. You can also get ones with your dogs face on them 🙂 They are HILARIOUS and I can’t wait to see his reaction! It is probably too late to order for fathers day but would be a great idea for another holiday.

Great gift list – thanks for doing this! My husband is a big time sock lover as well, so I thought I’d share a fun site I came across on Instagram that lets you get custom photo socks with your child’s face: https://myphotosocks.com/products/custom-i-love-dad-socks?variant=22444847628346.
I got some with our son’s face and am certain he is going to love them!

We got my dad a soft-shell Yeti cooler a couple years ago and he LOVES IT and still uses it on every beach and river trip! It’s way easier to tote around than the huge hard sided ones. We’re just planning a simple family lunch and maybe an extra date night this year – and of course some sort of overly cheesy kid craft!

So many great ideas on here, Julie! I really like the backpack duffel bag, I think that would be really useful, especially while traveling. Some of my personal favorite gifts to give, no matter the holiday or purpose are experiences, like sports games, concerts, movie tickets, etc.
