The Florida Blogger & Social Media Conference (FLBlogCon) began in 2011 and was an instant success.
(The conference used to the Central Florida Blogger & Social Media Conference, or CFLBlogCon, but dropped the “Central” this year.)
I attended the conference in its inaugural year and was so impressed. At last year’s conference, I left with tons of notes and can honestly say that it was the most educational blogging conference I have ever attended.
I detailed a bunch of my takeaways in my conference recaps which you can see below:
The conference addresses blog growth, search engine optimization, growing your presence in social media, making money through blogging, marketing your blog and more. There’s so much to learn!
This year the conference is taking place at Full Sail in Winter Park, Florida on Saturday, September 21. Tickets go on sale May 15, but you can win one through this giveaway before they’re available to the public!
And for those of you interested in speaking at the conference, they are accepting applications through May 1. Click here to apply!
To enter this giveaway, simply comment on this post, telling me what topic you hope to learn about at the conference.
I will randomly select a winner on Monday, April 29.
Good luck!

I’d love to learn about the professional and business side of blogging. From reading your experiences, there is so much legwork with privacy and finances that are way beyond my realm of knowledge. I think that would be very beneficial for any journalist or writer, since our main focus during school is developing our writing techniques.

As someone who has worked on the re-branding and re-launch of an Orlando events blog, I’m looking for ways to collaborate with other blogs in the area- be they fashion, restaurant/foodies, music, etc. We focus on quirky events <$20 and have had a great response, but we need to harness that into building a group of cooperative bloggers that elevate/cross-promote, and interact.
I can't wait for the conference! (www.theORLANDOAN.com, facebook.com/theorlandoan)

This month, I became a brand ambassador for Earth Fare. I want to fully optimize that opportunity to give them the exposure they deserve while getting exposure myself. Plus, Florida has some pretty awesome bloggers, especially health bloggers! I want to connect with them as well!
