Wanna know how to make a bride extremely nervous two days before her wedding day?
Give her a bout of food poisoning that makes her puke all day long.
Iām really not sure what is going on with my stomach today, but I have been throwing up since 10 a.m. š I seriously never get sick *knock on wood* and all of my symptoms point to food poisoning.
I blame all of the peanut butter cookie dough from last night. As I mentioned in my evening post yesterday, I ate a ton of dough. There were raw eggs in the dough, which doesnāt bode well.
Fortunately I am feeling a tiny bit better now. I feel okay enough to work on the computer a bit and bust out some emails to wedding vendors, but whenever I stand up or think about food, I feel instantly nauseous.
I wanted to pop in really quick to give you guys an update. Hopefully Iāll feel like myself later tonight because I have three of my best girlfriends spending the night with me at my parentās house. I have really been looking forward to a fun night of girl time so my fingerās are crossed for the return of healthy Julie!
I hope you guys are doing wellā¦ and remember, say no to dough (at least the kind with raw eggs in it!). š
I hope you feel better soon Julie!
I started getting a bad upset stomach the day/night of my rehearsal dinner due to major nerves – not about getting married, but just about everything going right. I was so excited about all the good food for the rehearsal dinner and bridesmaid brunch but my stomach wasn’t having any of that… different story after the ceremony, I enjoyed the reception food! Try to relax as much as you can, I know it’s really hard to. Having your friends to visit with should help!
someones got the pre wedding jitters š hehe just kidding!! FEEL BETTER!!!
Get well soon! š Will be praying for you tonight and for a speedy recovery.
Hope you feel better! Luckily, there is a few days before the wedding so hopefully, you will be back to your healthy self at the wedding. But as I remember from my wedding, there are always a ton of details to take care of beforehand. Glad that you have lots of friends and family to help you with those little details.
Aww you poor thing!! So sorry this happened but at least it’s not the day before your wedding and you have a few days to recover. Aww hun, feel better!!!!!
Oh no!!! I’m sending you good and quick recovery vibes. That is a total no no for a bride!!
Ahhh I’m so sorry Julie!! Take care of yourself and feel better really soon!
Oh goodness! I really hope you feel better soon. Hugs sweetie.
Aww, Julie, I’m so sorry to hear that you’re not feeling well! Raw cookie dough is SO delicious, but oh so problematic when you get a bad egg (it happened to me last year–not fun!).
I’m sending happy tummy vibes your way! Feel better soon!
I hope you get better soon!!! Can’t wait to see details/pics of your wedding!
Oh no!! I’m certain you’ll be 100% by wedding bells time =] Take care!
oh no!!!
i hope you feel better!!!!
Hang in there Julie!!
Praying you feel better so soon, Julie!
ACK! FEEL BETTER SOON JULIE!
My maid of honor became very sick the day of the wedding. The doctor actually called in an antinausea medication for her. If you are still feeling sick tomorrow for the rehearsal dinner you may want to consider asking your doctor about that option. It is amazing, It really takes all the stomach pain away!!
I hope you feel better! Too bad PB cookie dough is the best.
oh no! praying you feel better soon!
Oh girl.. feel better!!!
No more raw dough for you!! I hope you feel better!
Sending you positive thoughts so you feel better ASAP!
Eww…Thought my duaghter and I had food poisioning a couple weeks ago…Turned out it was roto virus..ugg
About 10 of my coworkers had it as well and we all called in…lol. Hope you feel better soon.
First, your blog is so cute! š
A word of warning, I used to be an avid consumer of cookie dough (with eggs naturally), and then I got horribly sick after one such indulgence, I thought I was going to puke my entire body out. Unfortunately it didn’t stop there, I started getting sick after every few days for weeks on end. After a doctor’s visit I found out I was allergic to eggs. I’ve never been allergic to eggs so this came as a shock. Apparently, it is possible to eat a bad egg and then your body will continue attacking any eggs it sees. Rare, but it happens.
Trust me, stay away from raw eggs, giving up pastries and eggs is such a pain.
Feel better!!!
Thinking of you
Oh no! I hope you feel better beofre your big day!
I am awaiting more wedding posts like you wouldn’t believe!! But you should focus on your special day (friends, family, and especially Ryan) and not the blog. ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND AND FEEL BETTER!!!
feel better julie!!!!!!
Preggers??
LOL – no!
Ackkkkk!!!!
I hope you’re doing well sweetheart I will be praying and praying for you to feel better soon!! (I hope you’re better now as I type this!)
I LOVE dough as well, but once I got salmonella from eating it (like you!) and so now I only bake with “fake eggs”- like Better ‘n Eggs – because they’re pasturized. YOu can eat dough without fear of pesky bacteria!!
I hope you feel better!
Awww I am so sorry to hear that you are sick the day before your wedding!!! š I really really hope you start feeling better SOON! Do you think that it could just be a super bad case of pre-wedding jitters?
Oh nooo!!! Feel better soon!!!
Oh my! I hope you are feeling better today, Julie! I was food poisioned before so I know exactly how awful that is. Get lots of rest and drink fluids. Don’t worry! You will be perfect for your wedding day! š
So so so sorry! I hope you feel better today. Drink some ginger ale and lots of fluids so you can be back on your feet quickly!
feel better!!!
Don’t get dehydrated!
And I second the advice about the anti-nausea medication. I took some when I was sick and on an antibiotic and it worked wonders.
Keeping you in my thoughts. Feel better soon!
Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear that! I hope you feel better soon! š
hope you are feeling better and have a blast with all the wedding fun
Feel better Julie!! š
š I hope you’re feeling better this morning!
OMG. I signed on hoping to see a post from you and read the title and my heart dropped for you.
I’ve been victim to the “too-much-dough” before. For me, it went away within a day, so I think (/hope/pray) you’ll be better in a jif. š
GOOD LUCK! We’re all so excited for you! š
Oh yuck! I would have been a complete emotional mess if I had food poisoning so close to my wedding day. I’m saying a prayer that this passes quickly and you feel rejuvenated for everything you have to do in the next two days. Good luck and congratulations!
I hope you’re feeling better this morning! Stay away from the dough! At least until Sunday. š
feel better SOON and have an incredible weekend
Oh no! At least you have plenty of time to feel better!!! Enjoy your night with the gals!
