Hello from beautiful San Francisco!
I arrived in San Francisco Thursday evening to participate in a fun three-day trip with StitchFix and LUNA and we’ve been exploring, eating and having a blast.
It didn’t take me long to find my way back into the StitchFix closet!
I kind of love it!
A quick rundown of StitchFix: StitchFix (<—affiliate link!) is a personalized styling service. You create a style profile by answering various questions about yourself and then a stylist selects five items they think you will love to send to your home. The styling fee is $20 per “fix” but you can apply that toward the items you want to buy, should you choose to keep anything from your fix. Return shipping is free, so you can easily send back whatever you don’t want by placing everything in the big return envelope that comes with every fix. The company is growing like crazy and I’m excited to be back to see the changes that have occurred since my last visit in November!
Arrival in San Francisco
When I arrived at the airport on Tuesday, I met up with Gina, one of my best blogging buddies, and took an Uber to the townhouse where we are staying through Friday morning.
The townhouse is adorable and StitchFix and LUNA thoroughly impressed us with their attention to detail. They stocked our fridge with wine and breakfast food, filled the bathrooms with Yes To goodies and placed fresh hydrangeas by our beds.
It has been a great experience so far and I feel very lucky to be here. I owe a big thank you to StitchFix and LUNA for having me!
Wednesday in San Francisco
The first official day of our trip kicked off early Wednesday morning with a group yoga session organized by LUNA with their go-to yoga guru, Sadie.
In addition to teaching yoga and personal training, Sadie works 25 hours a week teaching free yoga classes to LUNA and Clif Bar employees. Pretty sweet, huh!?
She took us through a 40-minute yoga practice in a beautiful park and though it was cool outside, I quickly warmed up after we went through a few sun salutations.
(Hi Monica!)
It was a wonderful way to kick off the day and the pigeon pose felt amazing on my hips since they are still a little tight from running.
After yoga, we walked back to our townhouse and I went on a quick coffee run with Anne (who I just saw in Boston last weekend!) and quickly got ready for a day out and about in San Francisco.
StitchFix Headquarters
Our first stop took us to the StitchFix headquarters where we got a glimpse at some of the upcoming styles and a few customer favorites.
I gave a lot of positive feedback about their accessories (so many cute stackable bracelets and delicate gold necklaces!) and their bags.
They have some of the cutest crossbody purses (you can seem my all-time favorite fold-over black one hanging below) and I snapped a picture of a small brown crossbody I’m hoping to request in an upcoming fix.
A little tip for those of you who use StitchFix: You can request StitchFix items you see other people review online for your own fix! They suggested pinning a picture of the item you like to the Pinterest board you have linked to your StitchFix profile or requesting it by name if that information is shared online and easy to reference.
I took a few photos of clothes I’d love to see pop up in one of my fixes, including a denim vest, casual green pullover and a printed skirt.
Before it was time for lunch, we had a chance to peek through the racks of clothes in the StitchFix closet.
When lunchtime rolled around, it was a little chilly outside, so we made sure to grab our jackets before setting up camp on some blankets and digging into a fresh and flavorful picnic lunch from Heyday. I need to recreate their Moroccan chickpea and quinoa salad. Unreal!
San Francisco Scavenger Hunt
Once we finished lunch, it was time for LUNA to take over for the day! They organized a photo scavenger hunt that split us up into random groups of three (shout out to my teammates Gina and Nicole!) and took us all over the city.
I loved this sweet dog we ran into on the beach and had to take a quick photo. I can almost feel Sadie’s jealousy all the way from Ocala.
We snapped some goofy pictures at some of the popular tourist hangouts in the city and I’m pretty sure my teammates and I became best friends with the Uber driver we coerced into helping us with our mission! (You can see all of the photos from the scavenger hunt on Instagram.)
If it weren’t for the scavenger hunt, I never would have known about the Irish coffee at Buena Vista.
Apparently it’s quite popular and I now know why. It is delicious (and strong!) and the bartender told us that they sell nearly 2,000 a day. Not a bad little afternoon pick-me-up, that’s for sure!
Gina, Nicole and I went over the time limit (losing track of time over Irish coffees will do that to ya), so I’m not anticipating a victory, but we had a great time exploring together.
Now I have to run because our plans for the day are about to begin. A barre class is up first! I hope you guys are having a great Thursday!

I don’t have an American Credit Card, so I can’t get the Stitch Fix, until they accept paypal that is – one day!
Looks like you’re having a terrific time, I’ll have to scope out that place with the Irish Coffees next time I’m in the city.

When bloggers take these trips to Stitchfix, I see so many things I wish were in my fix! Somehow all three have just been a little “off”. Not sure I’m up for trying again…. maybe?
I’d love to be in the Fix closet!
