Today I was feeling a little creative and knew Iād be bored if I stuck to a normal cardio or strength workout, so after a 20 minute warm up on the elliptical, I took myself through a fast-paced circuit workout that looked like this:
The entire circuit took me about 20 minutes to complete and felt like a great total-body workout with some cardio thrown in the mix to keep my heart rate up.
Breakfast
After the gym, it was breakfast time!
I made myself two whole wheat waffles, topped with chia seeds and syrup. I also ate a cup of Greek yogurt with honey while they were toasting because Iām apparently way too impatient to wait a whole two minutes for waffles to cook.
Time to blow dry my hair before hitting the road for Orlando. Iām speaking to a marketing club at UCF today!

I get the impatient thing…I microwaved my oatmeal today because I didn’t want to wait and the 2 1/2 minutes for that to finish felt like a lifetime. š

this workout is great. i get so stuck in a running rut that really does absolutely nothing for my heart rate. it’s always good (and fun!) to change it up. good luck today!
Nice circuit Julie! I did one this morning as well instead of my usual treadmill cardio and it’s amazing how circuits seem to get my heart rate up just as high, if not higher! Good luck with your speaking engagement! š

I dig circuit workouts. I do a lot of CrossFit and they have a TON of them!!! Good for muscular strength, endurance and cardiorespiratory endurance!!! Have fun at your talk today!

That’s a fun new workout, Might try that out today since I’m at my inlaws who have a super sweet gym in their club house! I love having access to a gym, just hate paying for it, hence why I don’t belong to one at home.

Which type of squats do you prefer? regular chair squats, wide leg squats, ? š Just curious! I love dead lifts by far one of my favorite moves to throw into a circuit workout!
