Oh hey there! I hope your Tuesday has been nice and productive. Sadie has been working hard on perfecting her guilt trip face.
That pitiful look worked on me, as always, and she got a bite of my string cheese as I typed up this blog post. I’m such a sucker.
Work
After I published my morning post, I drove to work and spent most of the day in meetings before it was time to teach water fitness. Today’s meetings addressed the Livestrong 12-week cancer survivor program we’ll be implementing next month. I am helping with all of the marketing and planning efforts surrounding the program and will spend tomorrow driving around town, reaching out to people in the area who might be able to help with the kickoff. I hope it’s a success!
Lunch
In between work, I grabbed lunch in the break room. For today’s mid-day meal I packed a chicken salad wrap and ate it with a cup of 2 percent Greek yogurt.
Now I have dinner on the brain. I hope you have a great evening!
Good luck with the Livestrong program — I’m sure you’ll do great! 🙂
I could never resist Sadie’s guilt trip face! She is too darn cute! Good luck with the Livestrong program!
Good luck with the program! I know this is random, but my anniversary is coming up and it reminded me your sister is getting married. At our wedding we placed anniversary cards on each table and had the guests at the table sign the card to us. We open each card that corresponds to each anniversary (open table one on our one year anniversary, etc). I’ve seen it done a few other times and I’m not sure if you have heard of that so I thought I would share. We enjoy opening the cards each year on our anniversary and it lets us relive little bits of our wedding night.
Oh my gosh, I LOVE that idea! I’ll pass it along!
I know that guilt trip look very well! My dog does it to me every morning if he doesn’t get his exercise by 8 am. High maintenance pup!
That cancer program sounds like such a great thing. I can’t wait to hear more 🙂
My dog has that same guilt trip face! Hah!
Good luck with your campaign! It sounds like it is a great and worthy cause!
mulder makes the same guilt face and inevitably ends up with a bite (or two) of my food.
sadie is just too cute! 🙂 my dachshund has also perfected the guilt trip face. it kills me!
mmm fage greek is my absolute fave. SO thick and creamy!!
Haha – Oh Sadie 🙂 My pup does the same thing and usually gets a treat of people food as well!
Oh good luck with the program at the gym. I am sure you’ll be the perfect person to do that!
Good luck with the program! I’m sure it will be a success.
Your chicken salad looks so good! I’m definitely going to have to make that soon to bring to work for lunch!! Hope you had a great Tuesday- I bought a car today YAY!
I saw that photo of Sadie you posted on Twitter, it is priceless!! I even feel guilty looking at it 🙂
I hope the program goes well, I am sure it will be a success.
Oh, Sadie is just the most gorgeous pooch! Look at those eyes!
That sounds fun! Hope its a success!
Sadie is so cute! She reminds of my chocolate lab sometimes. Miss my Mandy!
Your dog is adorable! I wish my pup at home would give me that face when she wants cheese… Jazz (my dog) just barks til I want to pull my hair out. She usually gets her cheese though… seems like she’s outsmarting her human! haha
Yeah, my dog gives me that face all the time. So smart, them dogs are! 🙂
That face is too cute!
So cute! I have a viszla too! Sadie is such a cutie pie 🙂
My Shih Tzu has the guilt trip face down too, after years and years of practice! 🙂
I’m interested to hear more about the Livestrong program!
My dog does the whole “guilt trip” thing too. Gets me every time! 😉
Hi Julie!! I’m so happy to have found your blog. your post on happiness really resonated with me! I’m definitely an if-then kind of gal.. unfortunately!!
Random question, why don’t you ever post about dinner?! 😀 The only bits I see are your lunches when they’re “heated up from last night’s dinner”. I’m only asking because I crave good healthy dinner ideas, and you seem to come up with them!
Yum I love the chicken salad idea I am all over that! Sadie is too cute love her face ox lots of love C
Omg your chicken salad always looks so colorful and delicious!!! I need to make some chicken salad.
I can’t make eye contact with my dog, because that happens every time!! Yum!! I can’t remember the last time I had chicken salad, but I do remember that every time I’ve ever had, it has always been extremely delicious and very addicting 🙂 Mmmmm now I’m craving some, that or some egg salad.
Your post and pic of Sadie made me giggle, because my puppy Nittany does the exact same thing. We just adopted her about a month ago, and now that she’s learning commands like sit, she knows what to do to get treats, so often she’ll come up while I’m munching on cheese or an apple and sit right in front of me with the same guilt face. Gets me every time…
I’m dog-sitting for my brother’s golden retriever, and she’s great at that face. I was finishing up my blog post this morning and she just kept sticking her head on my lap and looking up at me.
Haha how could you say no to that face?! What a suck 😉
