This Halloween is full of treats!
The treats began last night in our house when Ryan and I exchanged our anniversary gifts. I totally dropped the ball and didn’t end up finding anything leather, so I veered from the traditional anniversary gift themes and gave him clothes and a little box of goodies.
I attached little cards to various food and beverage items that I know Ryan likes and used the name of the item in a sentence about why I love being married to him!
For example, attached to a bag of Combos pretzels, I wrote a card that said I love you because “you’re the perfect COMBO-nation of playful, loving, supportive and fun!” On a bag of Smartfood popcorn I wrote, “You’re SMART and challenge me… in a good way!” It was a fun project and I hope it conveyed to Ryan just how much he means to me.
We don’t normally go all-out for anniversary gifts, so I was shocked when I opened Ryan’s gift to me and found a beautiful new leather purse that can be both a cross-body purse or a clutch.
He went above and beyond and saved for it and I absolutely love what he picked out! I was shocked and so impressed and told him that I will wear it all day and all night! He definitely put my gift to shame. Thank you, Ryan!!
Treats continued at work today. Even though I work at a gym, we’re not above celebrating with a little candy!
My coworkers made fun of me because I grabbed a box of DOTS. Do people not like DOTS? I am so out of the loop. It’s not like I was loving on Bit O’ Honeys or something! Give me a little credit!
Once I was done working and teaching, I headed home for a late lunch which came together in no time at all thanks to leftovers.
I reheated last night’s crock pot dish of pulled chicken, potatoes, carrots and onion and ate it with an apple and a Reese’s peanut butter cup.
It was delicious!

YourReebok Giveaway
I have a feeling quite a few of you will be pumped for this giveaway!
This month, through my on-going partnership with Reebok, I was able to experience the company’s YourReebok page which allows people to customize shoes using various colors and personalization touches.
Since the Reebok Nano Speed has quickly become by all-time favorite Reebok shoe, I knew they were the pair of shoes I wanted to use as my design guinea pig!
I spent a little too long on the website and think I designed four different shoes before I finally settled on a certain look.
And yes, you can personalize the back of the shoes! I ended up opting out of that feature because I couldn’t think of anything more creative than my name to put on the back of my shoe, but I’m sure people come up with some awesome nicknames or funny taglines!
I played around with super bright colors, muted colors, lots of white and lots of color but in the end I put together a shoe with lots of purple and gray and a touch of light blue. 
They should be arriving sometime next week and I am pumped to put them to good use!

I would love the hot pink shoes! Such a fun way to brighten my morning workouts. I’d also add my twitter handle to the back of the shoes!
I would love to customize a pair of the new Nanos! I would incorporate black & purple into the design, and it would be awesome to put my name on them as well as my CF box’s name!

I would cutomize the crossfit nano speed and definitely incorporate some pink!
I’d go with the Nanos since I’m a CrossFit lover… not sure on the color – I’d probably put my initials on the back! 🙂

I’d customize the nano speeds. I already have two pairs but they are so comfortable and versatile! I am partial to blue, but my others are already blue, so maybe purple??

I would love to try out the Reebok Nano Speeds! I wear tons of blue and green so would definitely go with that combo. I would stick with the speed theme and probably write “Vroom” on the back, or something fun like that 🙂
I don’t know what shoe I would get, but I know it will be hot pink. I would get the letters “SA” for my daughter Sophia and my son Aiden!
I love the idea of putting “Keep Up”, one word on each shoe. It wouldn’t work for me because I am usually trying to Keep up, but it may be fun for someone else.
I think I would incorporate orange and blue in my design because I am really into that combo right now.

I’d customize the nano speeds…..I would probably use a little aqua and a little fuschia or something of the sort. I would have to use my initials on the back, because let’s face it, I’m southern and EVERYTHING gets monogrammed 🙂

I would probably customize a pair of nanos! I’ve always run in asics, but have considered branching out. I would go for blue or maybe purple, seeing that everything I own is blue!
I would love the new Nanos! I’m still in the neon/bright color phase so I would definitely incorporate bright colors into the shoes. I would probably put my initials or something fun on the back 🙂
If I were to win this prize I would definitely follow suite and customize the nanos, love them! I love the color scheme of a black or gray base with a bright neon colored accent. The more obnoxious the better haha. On the back I would definitely put “My Arms Are Strong” – it’s a pun on my middle name which is Armstrong.

I’d choose the Nano’s to make. I’d try to incorporate some orange and/or green into the shoes. Personalization would have to be my first name Heather on the back like your example.
I would throw some pink and maybe black in there. I also love any shoes with silver. I’d probably try to come up with an inspirational little saying for the back…something like “Run Faster” or “No Excuses”.
I would definitely make mine brightly colored… maybe neon green or yellow with grey! And I have no clue what I’d write on them!! haha

Definitely the Nano’s! I would probably incorporate grey & blue to match most of my workout clothes! If I was to personalize them it would probably be something silly like “Beast Mode” haha

I would love to try the Reebok nano speeds since you speak so highly of them!! I think would incorporate the colors purple and gray, but I love color so any color would be perfect!! If I were to personalize my shoe, I would want it to say, keep moving!! A little motivation on your shoe wouldn’t hurt =)

I would choose the nanos. I have never owned a pair of reeboks and I trust your judgement 🙂 I would definitely go for a purple or lime green, maybe a combo of the two. I Don’t think I would write anything on them though, I am not creative enough!
I would try the Reebok Nano Speeds — because I have yet to try a Reebok shoe! I’m a die-hard asics fan and since shoes are so darn expensive, I haven’t taken the plunge and changed to another shoe! I would definitely incorporate pink/coral and yellow!
On the back I would put something inspirational! These shoes are so cool!
I love these shoes! I love that clothing and gear can make running easier AND more fun! I think I would choose a burnt orange color with white (Hook ’em horns!) and since I monogram anything and everything, I might just stick with my initials. Love it!
I’d love to customize some Nanos — I’m in desperate need of some new cross training shoes, and I think these would be perfect! I’d probably do something in the purple family because most of my workout gear seems to be purple!
