This Halloween is full of treats!
The treats began last night in our house when Ryan and I exchanged our anniversary gifts. I totally dropped the ball and didn’t end up finding anything leather, so I veered from the traditional anniversary gift themes and gave him clothes and a little box of goodies.
I attached little cards to various food and beverage items that I know Ryan likes and used the name of the item in a sentence about why I love being married to him!
For example, attached to a bag of Combos pretzels, I wrote a card that said I love you because “you’re the perfect COMBO-nation of playful, loving, supportive and fun!” On a bag of Smartfood popcorn I wrote, “You’re SMART and challenge me… in a good way!” It was a fun project and I hope it conveyed to Ryan just how much he means to me.
We don’t normally go all-out for anniversary gifts, so I was shocked when I opened Ryan’s gift to me and found a beautiful new leather purse that can be both a cross-body purse or a clutch.
He went above and beyond and saved for it and I absolutely love what he picked out! I was shocked and so impressed and told him that I will wear it all day and all night! He definitely put my gift to shame. Thank you, Ryan!!
Treats continued at work today. Even though I work at a gym, we’re not above celebrating with a little candy!
My coworkers made fun of me because I grabbed a box of DOTS. Do people not like DOTS? I am so out of the loop. It’s not like I was loving on Bit O’ Honeys or something! Give me a little credit!
Once I was done working and teaching, I headed home for a late lunch which came together in no time at all thanks to leftovers.
I reheated last night’s crock pot dish of pulled chicken, potatoes, carrots and onion and ate it with an apple and a Reese’s peanut butter cup.
It was delicious!

YourReebok Giveaway

This month, through my on-going partnership with Reebok, I was able to experience the company’s YourReebok page which allows people to customize shoes using various colors and personalization touches.
Since the Reebok Nano Speed has quickly become by all-time favorite Reebok shoe, I knew they were the pair of shoes I wanted to use as my design guinea pig!
I spent a little too long on the website and think I designed four different shoes before I finally settled on a certain look.
And yes, you can personalize the back of the shoes! I ended up opting out of that feature because I couldn’t think of anything more creative than my name to put on the back of my shoe, but I’m sure people come up with some awesome nicknames or funny taglines!
I played around with super bright colors, muted colors, lots of white and lots of color but in the end I put together a shoe with lots of purple and gray and a touch of light blue. 
They should be arriving sometime next week and I am pumped to put them to good use!

Not sure which pair of Reebok shoes I would customize but the colors I would incorporate into my design are coral pink, seafoam green, and white! And if I personalize them, I would want one shoe to say “SIGUE” and the other one to say “PA’LANTE”. This would ultimately say “SIGUE PA’LANTE”, a common Spanish phrase meaning keeping on moving forward which to me means that despite all the setbacks and challenges I have faced in my personal and health life, I cannot keep dwelling in the past and feeling bad about myself, but I just gotta keep on looking forward! ^_^
I’d go for the RealFlex Scream with pink, blue and white. I’m the same way, totally uncreative with names, so I’d skip that part 🙂
I so want to try the Nano’s! In bright pink or orange with “Jen”. Simple and sweet 🙂
I think i would incorporate red and grey so there are colors ( I LOVE red) but still discreet and I would probably put my name on it or “DARE”, to me that means that I dare to challenge myself, I dare to dream and I go for it. Btw I love your shoe so much
I would customize the nanos…I’ve had my eye on them for a while now! I would definitely have to include some neon colors….I love a fun workout shoe!

I would choose to customize the Realflex Scream 2.0! I really love the combination of the teal, yellow, and steel colors! Love the colors that pop! For personalizing, I would put “Run it” because I am a huge runner. Even though I do a mix of strength and biking also, running is my thing. 😀
I love the Nanos! I would design some with really bright colors! Maybe even put Meg on the back!
I tend to gravitate toward dark colors, so I’d definitely go with some combination of the blues, purple, black and gray.
Ahh I JUST got a new pair of running shoes today! But I was loving all of the colors and had a hard time choosing. I’d definitely go with a hot pink/yellow combination.

I would customize the nano 3’s or the nano speeds! Pink would DEFINITELY be involved because it’s my favorite color!!

I love black with a bit of bright color like a neon or hot pink.

I would pick the Nano’s with some darker colors since I have bright neon already. I would personalize the back with something like “Try”. That way it would inspire me and possibly whoever is behind me in class!

I would choose to customize the Nano Speeds as well. Pink, purple, and blue would have to be include and I would use “BEAST MODE” to personalize them!

whoa! after playing around on that website, I can see why it took a while for you to decide….so many options! For some reason I love black on sneaks, so I’d definitely work with a black/graphite/teal/solar green combo on the Ziglite Rush (I <3 those zigzags!)….so far, thought of "born to" or "keep going" to personalize 🙂

I am shopping for a new pair of shoes…this would be perfect! I think I would go for a mixture of purple, gray, and greens/bluish colors. They would match the most of my clothes 🙂

I would personalize mine to say Hot Mama! To remind me that being active is good for me and my daughter. Looking good in the process is an added bonus!
That purse/clutch is BEAUTIFUL but you’re gift to Ryan was so thoughtful and unique! My husband and I are coming up on our 1-year anniversary and I had to go back to see what ya’ll did since you’re s creative!
Nano speeds all the way!! I love the neon blue, yellow and a touch of pink…being 4’10..I want SMALL is STRONG ..even though, that won’t fit!! :o)

I love grey mixed with blue, or grey and pink….grey with another bright colour is always fun:) I would totally put my name on them! My name is never on anything!! Growing up everyone always had pens, or some little trinket with their name on it, but I could never find Sally…you could find Savannah, but never Sally (no offense to anyone named Savannah, but I would think Sally would be a little easier to find). Having shoes with my name on them would be awesome! lol

I would love to rock the Reebok nanos in fun colors that match some of my fav workout tanks! is there a limit to how many characters you can put on them? i’d prob want something other than my name! something motivational like, “no quit in here” or “sweat!”
The nano speed look snazzy! I would incorporate pink and black for sure. I’m not very clever so I would probably opt out of adding any wording!
