This Halloween is full of treats!
The treats began last night in our house when Ryan and I exchanged our anniversary gifts. I totally dropped the ball and didn’t end up finding anything leather, so I veered from the traditional anniversary gift themes and gave him clothes and a little box of goodies.
I attached little cards to various food and beverage items that I know Ryan likes and used the name of the item in a sentence about why I love being married to him!
For example, attached to a bag of Combos pretzels, I wrote a card that said I love you because “you’re the perfect COMBO-nation of playful, loving, supportive and fun!” On a bag of Smartfood popcorn I wrote, “You’re SMART and challenge me… in a good way!” It was a fun project and I hope it conveyed to Ryan just how much he means to me.
We don’t normally go all-out for anniversary gifts, so I was shocked when I opened Ryan’s gift to me and found a beautiful new leather purse that can be both a cross-body purse or a clutch.
He went above and beyond and saved for it and I absolutely love what he picked out! I was shocked and so impressed and told him that I will wear it all day and all night! He definitely put my gift to shame. Thank you, Ryan!!
Treats continued at work today. Even though I work at a gym, we’re not above celebrating with a little candy!
My coworkers made fun of me because I grabbed a box of DOTS. Do people not like DOTS? I am so out of the loop. It’s not like I was loving on Bit O’ Honeys or something! Give me a little credit!
Once I was done working and teaching, I headed home for a late lunch which came together in no time at all thanks to leftovers.
I reheated last night’s crock pot dish of pulled chicken, potatoes, carrots and onion and ate it with an apple and a Reese’s peanut butter cup.
It was delicious!
And now it’s time to share a little Halloween treat with you!
YourReebok Giveaway
I have a feeling quite a few of you will be pumped for this giveaway!
This month, through my on-going partnership with Reebok, I was able to experience the company’s YourReebok page which allows people to customize shoes using various colors and personalization touches.
Since the Reebok Nano Speed has quickly become by all-time favorite Reebok shoe, I knew they were the pair of shoes I wanted to use as my design guinea pig!
I spent a little too long on the website and think I designed four different shoes before I finally settled on a certain look.
And yes, you can personalize the back of the shoes! I ended up opting out of that feature because I couldn’t think of anything more creative than my name to put on the back of my shoe, but I’m sure people come up with some awesome nicknames or funny taglines!
I played around with super bright colors, muted colors, lots of white and lots of color but in the end I put together a shoe with lots of purple and gray and a touch of light blue.
They should be arriving sometime next week and I am pumped to put them to good use!
And now it’s your turn to customize a pair of Reebok shoes!!! One PBF reader will win a gift card to customize the Reebok shoes of their choice.
To enter this giveaway, simply comment below, answering one (or all) of the following questions:
- Which pair of Reebok shoes would you customize?
- What colors do you think you would incorporate into your design?
- If you personalize your shoes, what would you want them to say?
I will randomly select a winner on Monday morning.
Good luck!!!

I would customize the nanos because I have always wanted them for crossfit inspired workouts! There would definitely be green on them and maybe pops of neon. I think I would put “stronger” ,”one more” or maybe just my last name on the back.
Bethany @ Accidental Intentions says
I would definitely go for the Freestyles! I’ve been taking hip hop and breakdance classes for the past year, and custom Freestyles would make for a SICK pair of kicks in dance!
Lauren says
I would loooove a pair of the nano speed’s with pink, blue and maybe a touch of grey. I too would probably spend way too long designing them though! Great giveaway, thanks for the opportunity!
Jen says
Nano speeds! I’d probably pick candy pink and Ultra Violet. Not sure what I’d put on the back…maybe JJ. 🙂
Karen says
I think I would get the Nano Speeds as well. I played around on the website and came up with a dark blue, light blue, yellow and coral combo that i like. I’d probably wrote something like “move” or “begin” on the shoe.
Rebecca says
Oooh I’d love a pair of bright pink shoes! And I’d have to think a little about something inspiring to put on the shoes… other than my name.
LG says
I would pick the Nano Speed in purple and maybe yellow or orange too?
Speaking of “old people” candy, I get made fun of sometimes because I love sponge toffee and saltwater taffy. What! They are so good! :0)
Kelli Nichols says
I have never tried Reebok shoes, but I like the looks of the CrossFit Nano’s. Since most of my workout clothes consist of black and pink, I’d probably choose bright pinks and possibly greens. Would have to brainstorm ideas for the back…but probably would end up with my name. Thanks for this awesome giveaway opportunity!
Alexa says
Ooooh I would love to win, my shoes are getting so worn out! I’d pick a great gym shoe since I’m not a runner. So probably the nano, and I’d have to go black with bright pink, bright orange, or lime green ! If it fit on the back, I would write “Train like a beast” (shout out to Blogilates!)
kelly says
I’d definitely put ‘MMMBop’ on mine. I still love hanson 🙂
Jillian says
I would definitely design the shoes in pink and gray, and personalize it with my nick name, Jilly Billy, on the back.
Jennifer says
Ryan did a fabulous job! I love that purse. My husband never picks out my gifts. He always has me get it. Haha We always make our gifts for valentines day though.
I would pick the Nanos. I’m really into turquoise and grey right now so some combo of those colors and maybe add in some purple. Thanks for another great giveaway!
meredith says
i would LOVE to do this – mine would definitely be blues and grays and say “Personal” on the left shoe and “Best” on the right. thanks!
Elyssa says
definitely the nano speed! i want yellow and other bright color on my shoes!

I would incorporate a lot of bright colors because I like standing out and being colorful when i workout
Kira says
I would design the reebok crossfit 3.0s. I would color them red and black because those are the STRONG colors of bodypump. I discovered bodypump at a time when I was cardio obsessed and because of that my legs were strong, but the rest of my body was very weak and frail (I couldn’t sit in wooden chairs because my back bones would hurt too much). Through bodypump I discovered that “strong is the new skinny” and I am so much happier and healthier because of it. My love for bodypump continued to grow and I became a BP certified instructor this July! Now I would love to have a pair or red and black reeboks to teach my classes in to be in the true essence of bodypump strong. I would write “We are strong” on the back to inspire both myself and the participants in my class.
Brittany says
That’s so fun! I would probably design mine in green and purple.
Kathleen says
I would love to customize the CrossFit Speed in green, blue and pink. I am not sure if I would customize it with a name because I don’t have a cute nickname to put on there.
Ali says
I would have to go with the Nano Speed, as well! It would be so hard to choose with all the colors but definitely lots of brights/neons!
Jolynn @ Lift Pray Love says
I’ve never owned any Reebok shoes so it would be tough to choose the right ones. I run and lift so maybe the nano?
Robyn says
I think I’d pick the nano and definitely have purple in them!
Shaunna says
I reaaaaaaly want those nanos. I would pick purple ones!!!! 🙂
Nicole says
I would customize the Women’s Reebok Crossfit Nano Speed. I would use the Black, Candy Pink with Blue Blink accents.
Lauren says
I’d pick the crossfit nano 2.0 and there would definitely be some “team purple” and lots of bright colors. I like my sneakers to be as loud as possible, but wouldn’t personalize them with a name.
Erin says

Thanks for the giveaway!
Lauren S says
Mine would probably be blue especially considering my current pair is neon pink lol. I would probably agonize for days over something creative to say on the back and then not put anything at all.
Georgina says
I would go with the CrossFit Nano 3.0s and make them really bright and fun with lots of purple and blue!
Tiffany says
Nano Speeds
in my son’s high school colors : red white and black
with his number on the back
They would become a part of my school spirit essemble when we attend sporting events.
Jamie says
I would choose the Nano speed. Typically I would pick teal & maybe purple, but I want to be wild and crazy and try lime green and pink…how ’bout that??? I would just put my name on them. I can’t go too crazy. 🙂
Sarah B. says
I’d def follow your recommendation and personalize the Nano Speeds. Lots of bright colors would be involved to keep away the drab of the approaching winter. Thanks much for this awesome giveaway!
Laura S says
I’m sure it would take me forever to choose too but I’d love to have some yellow in them!
Lauren B. says
I absolutely LOVE the colors you selected–that purple has a beautiful bluish tone to it. If I ever order those shoes, I might go with that color! Jeez. Such a copy cat 🙂 I do not know what I would personalize them with, but I know what I WOULDN’T…my older brother is also a personal trainer and ordered a pair of Nike’s once (sorry, Reebok). He got them to put “Well Hung” on the shoe as a joke. I can’t help but laugh every time I see personalized shoes, as this memory comes to mind. He doesn’t like the fit of the shoe, so I also laugh imagining the reaction on someone’s face as they stumble upon them at Goodwill. Just sayin’.
MH says
This customization is an awesome idea! I’d get the Nano Speed as well, with some combo of trust blue, neon yellow, and candy pink. On the back I think I’d just want a single exclamation point on each shoe.
Lisa says
I would use a lot of bright colors because they make me happy!
Briana Lucas says
I would pick the Nano 3 to customize. I would likely have a mix of pink grey and blue. If i was brave enough I might customize the back with something like “sween-dog” which was my nickname in highschool 🙂
Rachel says
I have been wanting to try the nano speed — and I would definately pick some bright fun colors!
Lauren Z. says
I would pick the Nanos! I would love some gray shoes, with some neon colors thrown in! Not sure if I would personalize, but maybe my initials!
Ashley says
I need some hot pink sneakers!!
Katie says
I would definitely pick out a new purple pair of sneakers! Can never have too much purple!
Lindsey says
I would definitely get the Nano’s because I still need a cross-training shoe for my bootcamp workouts and I would probably do some color combination similar to yours with black, purple or pink, and blue. I like pink and black together 🙂 I would have to think of a creative tag for them, but definitely a fitness slogan.
Lindsay says
I love the purple and grey combo!
Alli says
I would choose the colors teal and pink! Two of my favorites! 🙂
Rachel W says
i’d customize the Nano speed, probably purple and personalize them with my initials 🙂
Love the tory burch bag, Ryan did good!
