This Halloween is full of treats!
The treats began last night in our house when Ryan and I exchanged our anniversary gifts. I totally dropped the ball and didn’t end up finding anything leather, so I veered from the traditional anniversary gift themes and gave him clothes and a little box of goodies.
I attached little cards to various food and beverage items that I know Ryan likes and used the name of the item in a sentence about why I love being married to him!
For example, attached to a bag of Combos pretzels, I wrote a card that said I love you because “you’re the perfect COMBO-nation of playful, loving, supportive and fun!” On a bag of Smartfood popcorn I wrote, “You’re SMART and challenge me… in a good way!” It was a fun project and I hope it conveyed to Ryan just how much he means to me.
We don’t normally go all-out for anniversary gifts, so I was shocked when I opened Ryan’s gift to me and found a beautiful new leather purse that can be both a cross-body purse or a clutch.
He went above and beyond and saved for it and I absolutely love what he picked out! I was shocked and so impressed and told him that I will wear it all day and all night! He definitely put my gift to shame. Thank you, Ryan!!
Treats continued at work today. Even though I work at a gym, we’re not above celebrating with a little candy!
My coworkers made fun of me because I grabbed a box of DOTS. Do people not like DOTS? I am so out of the loop. It’s not like I was loving on Bit O’ Honeys or something! Give me a little credit!
Once I was done working and teaching, I headed home for a late lunch which came together in no time at all thanks to leftovers.
I reheated last night’s crock pot dish of pulled chicken, potatoes, carrots and onion and ate it with an apple and a Reese’s peanut butter cup.
It was delicious!

YourReebok Giveaway

This month, through my on-going partnership with Reebok, I was able to experience the company’s YourReebok page which allows people to customize shoes using various colors and personalization touches.
Since the Reebok Nano Speed has quickly become by all-time favorite Reebok shoe, I knew they were the pair of shoes I wanted to use as my design guinea pig!
I spent a little too long on the website and think I designed four different shoes before I finally settled on a certain look.
And yes, you can personalize the back of the shoes! I ended up opting out of that feature because I couldn’t think of anything more creative than my name to put on the back of my shoe, but I’m sure people come up with some awesome nicknames or funny taglines!
I played around with super bright colors, muted colors, lots of white and lots of color but in the end I put together a shoe with lots of purple and gray and a touch of light blue. 
They should be arriving sometime next week and I am pumped to put them to good use!

I really want to try the Nano Speed ! And how fun to be able to customize my colors. I will have a hard time picking!
I need cross trainers so I’d get one of the Nanos, and I’d use dark colors- gray with some green accents, maybe.

I would do the Crossfit Nano 3.0 and would probably choose a combo of purple, grey, and black. Maybe they should say something motivational or funny…but I don’t know what. It would be hard to decide!
I would definitely go all out with purple! I’d probably get some other color in there (maybe orange which is my second favorite color). I’d love to write something on the back about running since it’s my exercise love. Also, forgive me if it appears as though I commented twice. I got an email about having to confirm a subscription, and while I believe I followed all of the steps, I can’t be sure that I did and wonder if my first comment ever showed up. It’s not intentional to comment twice. 🙂
I love anything neon with gray! I love that you can personalize the shoe. Something that keeps me motivated, a type of quote, that I can look at the shoe and want to put them on and get out the door is really awesome. Thanks again for the awesome giveaway!

I would customize mine with lime green and neon yellow! Super fast colors! And the back heel would say mickig my nickname 🙂

For colors I think I would go with blue, lime green and orange (I know it’s a strange combination but it would give me energy on my run!) To personalize them I think I would put “fueled by coffee” on the backs 😉
Definitely Reebok Cross fit Nano 2.0, and I’d use light blue, coral and maybe a little like green! If I customized it, I think I would put an acronym on the back…I’ve always used Kanye West’s “Stronger” as a last ditch pump up song during workouts, and Daft Punk’s song he sampled has them saying Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger in it- I LOVE that! So I might put HBFS on them 🙂
I used to own reebok realflex shoes and I heard the nanos were similar. I’d probably choose those. I would choose black with a bright stripe like orange or pink cuz I love black sneakers. I’d put ‘Karl’ on the back of the shoe cuz it’s my silly nickname:))

Nano Speed in a combination of black, purple and gray. (The dark colors help with my monster sized feet!). I’d probably put “Addy’s Grandma” on the back because it would be worth hearing the 3 year old giggle!

I would use as many neon colors as possible! I also love the salmon/blue/grey combo above.
I would also get the nano’s and I would for sure make then turquoise. That is my favorite colour. As for text if I made my husband a pair I would put fitter, faster, stronger on it which is the motto for Firefitters.

Nano Speed! My current workout shoes are pink and black so maybe some other bright color with a neutral. I love the gray so maybe that with a kelly green or blue!

Definitely the nano speed. I like bright colors when I run. I’d probably go with sonic green, Candy pink, and maybe a little Blue Blink. I think I’d have my name on them, because…why not.

I would customize either the nano 3.o or nano speed for my crossfit workouts. I would want to use some yellows and grays, I think. I would also want to add my favorite verse as customization! This is the BEST give a way!
I love this!! I trust your opinion and I like similar workouts so I would probably go with the Nano Speeds. I would definitely choose bright colors like teal, pink, and green because having exciting shoes motivates me to work out. I would have to spend some time thinking about whether or not to customize them… everything I can think of is pretty silly, but then again, who cares! Thanks for the great giveaway 🙂

I would totally chose the Nanos because I still really want a pair! I’d probably make them gray and neon something. Gotta have that pop of color! I have so many nicknames I see myself putting something silly on the back of them.

I would definitely choose the realflex scream! All of their colors are so great, I would have such a hard time deciding, but I love the teal and blue colors…or maybe pink. If I personalized them I would maybe write “Go Do” on them, I really like that saying!
