This Halloween is full of treats!
The treats began last night in our house when Ryan and I exchanged our anniversary gifts. I totally dropped the ball and didn’t end up finding anything leather, so I veered from the traditional anniversary gift themes and gave him clothes and a little box of goodies.
I attached little cards to various food and beverage items that I know Ryan likes and used the name of the item in a sentence about why I love being married to him!
For example, attached to a bag of Combos pretzels, I wrote a card that said I love you because “you’re the perfect COMBO-nation of playful, loving, supportive and fun!” On a bag of Smartfood popcorn I wrote, “You’re SMART and challenge me… in a good way!” It was a fun project and I hope it conveyed to Ryan just how much he means to me.
We don’t normally go all-out for anniversary gifts, so I was shocked when I opened Ryan’s gift to me and found a beautiful new leather purse that can be both a cross-body purse or a clutch.
He went above and beyond and saved for it and I absolutely love what he picked out! I was shocked and so impressed and told him that I will wear it all day and all night! He definitely put my gift to shame. Thank you, Ryan!!
Treats continued at work today. Even though I work at a gym, we’re not above celebrating with a little candy!
My coworkers made fun of me because I grabbed a box of DOTS. Do people not like DOTS? I am so out of the loop. It’s not like I was loving on Bit O’ Honeys or something! Give me a little credit!
Once I was done working and teaching, I headed home for a late lunch which came together in no time at all thanks to leftovers.
I reheated last night’s crock pot dish of pulled chicken, potatoes, carrots and onion and ate it with an apple and a Reese’s peanut butter cup.
It was delicious!

YourReebok Giveaway
I have a feeling quite a few of you will be pumped for this giveaway!
This month, through my on-going partnership with Reebok, I was able to experience the company’s YourReebok page which allows people to customize shoes using various colors and personalization touches.
Since the Reebok Nano Speed has quickly become by all-time favorite Reebok shoe, I knew they were the pair of shoes I wanted to use as my design guinea pig!
I spent a little too long on the website and think I designed four different shoes before I finally settled on a certain look.
And yes, you can personalize the back of the shoes! I ended up opting out of that feature because I couldn’t think of anything more creative than my name to put on the back of my shoe, but I’m sure people come up with some awesome nicknames or funny taglines!
I played around with super bright colors, muted colors, lots of white and lots of color but in the end I put together a shoe with lots of purple and gray and a touch of light blue. 
They should be arriving sometime next week and I am pumped to put them to good use!

The ones you designed are so cute! I would love to create a fun vibrant pair with orange red blue and yellow!
I would definitely customize the nano’s as well! I debate whether to go bright like all the running shoes seem to be these days or stick with something like you designed. and I have a few nicknames I would play with…it would be cool cuz no one else could steal your shoes 🙂
I’m really loving the neon colors right now so probably some combination of neon green and my favorite color pink!
Probably the Nanos with an aqua and orange and have them say something liek Go Fins lol

If I could customize a pair of Reeboks, I would definitely choose the ATV19 and I would incorporate some coral-pinks and silvery neutrals! And the phrase I’d write on the back? “Keep Going” for an added boost 🙂

I would design a pair of neon pink Reebok CrossFit Nano Speeds for cross training days.
1. I’d like to customize the Women’s Smooth Flex 2.0 however there doesn’t seem to be an option to do so; in that case I’d like to customize the Women’s Crossfit Nano 3.0.
2. My dream Reebok shoe would be black, hot pink, and lime green.
3. Since the personalization limits characters i’m not able to put “BElieve in YOUrself” but instead i’d like to put something similar that fits “INSPIRE” because what I strive for is making a good impression and setting the better example.

Oh my gosh, what a great give away (and what a great anniversary present Ryan got you)!!! I would design the CrossFit Nano 3.0 in some bright colors that get me pumped about going for a run. My family calls me Lizard, so maybe with that customized name, it might make me a little speedier too!

These are adorable! I am a sucker for running shoes, especially when they’re colorful! I just signed up for my very first 5k, so I will be training a lot and would love a new pair of running shoes that are dependable and can keep my feet feeling good! I would customize the CrossFit Nano Speeds, probably incorporating lime green, pink, and black. If I were to add a nickname on the back, I think I’d have them say something motivational so that every morning when I go to grab my shoes, I have a little piece of motivation that reminds me to keep going 🙂

I got some nanos on my birthday and have been wanting to try out the speeds. I think I would go for as many colors as I could… have a rainbow shoe. I love the crazy colored shoes. I think I would just put heath on the back cause that’s What everyone calls me.

Not sure which pair I would buy but I think I might incorporate blue and purple and maybe some white. I would have to out some kind of inspirational saying on the back to make me want to work out on those hard days.
I’m actually really digging the ol’ crossfit nano 2.0s! One of my instructors has them, and though I’m not into crossfit, I need a good cross training shoe when I’m back up to working out. 😉
Yellow, purple, or teal would probably make its way on there, and I think I’d put “FOR BOSTON” on them since I hand write it onto my running shoes 😉

I would customize the reebok nano’s and incorporate my gyms colors of red, grey and white. Then on the back add my favorite PR from one the most challenging WODS like 3:18.

Hmmm I’m not sure what pair I would get but I desperately need new workout shoes! And my absolute favorite color is purple so they would definitely have to incorporate that! Finally, i think i would put something funny like “Run Forest” or “Dream on” lol

Oh wow, I just spent 30 minutes personalizing my dream Reebok training shoe! I’m really liking the ATV19, with the really funky design. I’ve never had a shoe like that, and based on the reviews, it seems to be a pretty good running shoe. Every design I put together included really bright, neon colors. 🙂

There are so many choices, I don’t think I can choose just one shoe. Definitely something to help me get inspired as I start training for my first full marathon- when you’re working up to 26.2 miles, March suddenly seems way too close. With lots of early morning runs in my future some lot pink and lime green will be required for sure. And I’d personalize them to say “513” and “202,” the area codes of Cincinnati and DC- my two homes (where I grew up and where I now live, respectively).
I think that winning these shoes would help give me the motivation to train better for my half marathon!! 🙂 I tend to wear shoes pretty hard, so I am always looking for longevity and sustainability in a shoe! I love purple and pink, so I would definitely use those in my color mix- and maybe I am strong written on them!
