Happy New Year!
I hope you guys had a fabulous time celebrating last night and aren’t feeling like this right now…
For those of you who were already fast asleep when midnight rolled around, I hope you’re feeling extra chipper this morning just like little Miss Sadie.
May your 2014 be filled with lots of playtime! I know that’s Sadie’s number one goal.
Workout
Ryan and I both have the day off work today, so after sleeping in, we woke up feeling nice and rested and ready to head to the gym. As I’m sure you can imagine, we weren’t the only ones who thought to kick off 2014 with a workout.
When we arrived, lots of people were already there working up a sweat which was great to see. Fortunately I didn’t have to wait for any equipment or machines and Ryan and I were in and out in a little less than an hour as usual.
I did a 20 minute elliptical workout before hitting the weight room to concentrate on strength training. I focused on my biceps and triceps and definitely felt the burn. I challenged myself with heavier weights and it felt great!
Breakfast
Once we were done with our workouts, Ryan and I drove to a local coffee shop to grab some hot drinks (cappuccino for me!) before making our way home for breakfast.
I assembled a yogurt bowl by combining 2 percent Greek yogurt, honey and dark chocolate Cheerios.

Tasty, simple and filling!
And now I need to shower! I’m not sure what our plans for today entail, but I know laundry is on my to-do list. It’s about to get craaazy over here!
Happy New Year, my friends!

Yogurt and cereal is such an underrated combo! As much as I dread the New YEars gym rush I love seeing everyone getting fit and accomplishing their goals 🙂

Good Morning! I just polished off a “yogurt sundae,” It’s 2/3 cup of blueberries, 2/3 cup of fresh strawberries, 1 cup plain, zero fat greek yogurt, with about 1/4 cup of Kind cinnamon granola. I love this!
Happy New Year. I love your blog!

I love that more people work out at the beginning of a new year, but I never like how crowded the gyms are at the beginning of the year! By March it usually dies down.
