Happy New Year!
I hope you guys had a fabulous time celebrating last night and aren’t feeling like this right now…
For those of you who were already fast asleep when midnight rolled around, I hope you’re feeling extra chipper this morning just like little Miss Sadie.
May your 2014 be filled with lots of playtime! I know that’s Sadie’s number one goal.
Workout
Ryan and I both have the day off work today, so after sleeping in, we woke up feeling nice and rested and ready to head to the gym. As I’m sure you can imagine, we weren’t the only ones who thought to kick off 2014 with a workout.
When we arrived, lots of people were already there working up a sweat which was great to see. Fortunately I didn’t have to wait for any equipment or machines and Ryan and I were in and out in a little less than an hour as usual.
I did a 20 minute elliptical workout before hitting the weight room to concentrate on strength training. I focused on my biceps and triceps and definitely felt the burn. I challenged myself with heavier weights and it felt great!
Breakfast
Once we were done with our workouts, Ryan and I drove to a local coffee shop to grab some hot drinks (cappuccino for me!) before making our way home for breakfast.
I assembled a yogurt bowl by combining 2 percent Greek yogurt, honey and dark chocolate Cheerios.
Step one:
Step two:
Step three:
Step four:
Tasty, simple and filling!
And now I need to shower! I’m not sure what our plans for today entail, but I know laundry is on my to-do list. It’s about to get craaazy over here!
Happy New Year, my friends!

That cheerios combo looks interesting! I hate yogurt and try to disguise it well when I eat it, so that may just work! I don’t feel like Sadie in first pic thank goodness! I went on a very wet, dreary, and cold run this morning with a friend! And now watching Gilmore Girls and staring at the laundry that should get done (you will be more successful than me:) Happy new year PBF!

YUM! I stayed up until midnight last night (surprisingly, ha!) and then woke up around 5 to the sounds of plows outside my window from all the snow we got over night. I then made my way to an 8am hot yoga class which was just the perfect way to start not only my day, but my year. Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! May this year bring new adventures, challenges, and beautiful memories for us all! I have officially transitioned out of sweetened yogurt, and have been using 0% fage with fresh blueberries or granola. I need to try out the 2% for taste and texture.

I had a late lunch today and wasn’t really hungry for dinner. I wanted to get some veggies in – so I sliced up some cucumber and green pepper to snack on and put some in Tupperware in the fridge for a quick snack to grab for the rest of the week 🙂
