I figured a bowl of brownie batter hot cereal would ease my sweet tooth a bit and get some chocolate in my belly in a healthier way than a big bowl of chocolate ice cream with hot fudge sauce (which is what I really wanted) would.
I enjoyed my bowl of chocolate goodness with a hot tumbler full of my gym’s free coffee. Today’s coffee combination was Barnie’s cinnamon butter cookie and French vanilla coffee flavors combined.
I would have no problem downing a big ice cream sundae for breakfast. I see no boundaries between my meals (which is probably why I love breakfast for dinner so much). Growing up one of my favorite breakfasts was leftover spaghetti with my mom’s marinara meat sauce… I actually preferred it cold. 😀
Does eating foods typically reserved for dinner or lunch gross you out in the morning, or can you down a slice of pizza before 9 a.m. without a problem?
Bring on the pizza!
“Healthy” Drinks
My friend Katherine emailed me a pretty interesting link the other day. It was an eye-opening look at popular drinks Americans consume daily. The biggest shocker? The “healthy” drink (Naked Protein Zone Banana Chocolate drink, 15.2-ounce bottle) that had 70 grams of sugar… the same amount of sugar found in five Breyers Oreo ice cream sandwiches. Yikes!
So which one do you choose?
Pass me the ice cream puh-lease! 😀

I had almond joy oats this morning 😉
I LOVE breakfast food. No lunch or dinner stuff for me.

BTW…I wouldn’t pick either of those 😀

I always stick to breakfast foods in the morning only because I love them so much I wouldn’t want to miss them! But I have no trouble eating breakfast foods at lunch or dinner! 🙂

I usually eat breakfast foods in the morning just to try to stay on the healthy side of things…but I’ve been known to eat leftover cold pizza for breakfast! Yum.

I often eat leftover protein from last night’s dinner for breakfast. Or one of my go to breakfasts is a tofu hotdog with sauerkraut. I am not a sweet breakfast person.

I’m definitely the type that sticks to sweet things for breaky. I have no problem with breakfast for dinner though! And between the juice and the ice cream….. I’d choose ice cream without a doubt, any day!

WOW!
That´s definetely something I would have never thought possible!
I guess, on that case… Ice-cream, please!
Hahahaha 😉
Have a great Thursday!

I’ve looked at so many of those Naked drinks, and they’re ALL so high in calories and sugar. Ridiculous!
I don’t like non-breakfast foods for breakfast usually, unless I”m hungover 🙂 Then, for some reason, they sound SO good!

haha too funny & i TOTALLY agree. i always want greasy goodness then!

Oh man!! That’s pretty crazy! I knew those fruit smoothies had tons of sugar but didn’t realize it was that bad. I would definitely go for the ice cream ;). Ohhh and on the dinner for breakfast- I hate hate hate cold pasta sauce!! I can’t stand cold pizza or pasta. I would totally eat it for breakfast if I warmed it up first. I couldn’t tell you why.

I agree that the Naked Juice is high is sugar – it seems to be (I may be wrong though) that it is natural fructose sugar – found in all that fruit that they put into it. I did not see any added sugar listed there. I know it’s high, but I do eat quite a lot of fruit and and I would be OK having it now and again.
I eat dinner for breakfast quite often. 🙂 Had lasagne leftovers the other day… I heart my breakfast. 🙂

That is a sick amount of sugar! Even if it’s natural sugar, that’s a bit excessive. I would definitely rather just eat a bunch of bananas (or ice cream bars…).
