Healthy Holidays Giveaway Week: Day Two

December 4, 2012 by Julie 1,351 Comments

It’s day two of Healthy Holidays Giveaway Week and the fitness fun is just beginning!

Healthy Holidays Giveaway Week

Today we’re keeping the festivities rolling with a compression shorts giveaway!

Aspaeris Compression Shorts Giveaway

As someone who discovered the benefits of compression gear only a year ago, I fell hard and fast for compression clothing, sleeves and socks.

The Aspaeris Pivot Shorts are my favorite pair of compression shorts – I have them in navy blue and red – and when I reached out to the company about a giveaway, they enthusiastically agreed. Hooray!

Aspaeris Pivot Shorts

They also threw in the added bonus of 25 percent off the compression shorts on their website for PBF readers just in case you don’t win but still want to try their gear. (Just use the code PBFINGERS on the Aspaeris website and you’ll get the discount.)

The Aspaeris Pivot Shorts are actually two shorts in one.

According to the company, the outer short is a high performance compression short designed to support your muscles while the inner short features Dual Sensory Compression Bands™. These cross-knit bands guide your muscles into the proper position, thereby improving your pivot performance which helps prevent ACL and hip injuries.

Pivot Compression Shorts

They’ll keep you nice and snug!

To enter this giveaway, please leave a comment below telling me about your experience (or lack of experience!) with compression gear.

I will randomly select a winner on Thursday morning.

Good luck!

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

I have been side-eyeing compression legging/socks for awhile now! Lately, I’ve been doing a lot of glute/hamstring workouts and know that this would help me a lot!!

I am a fairly new runner, as in, I trained for my first (bigger then 5k) race this year. I participated in the Chicago Urbanathalon (in Oct), but found (during my training) my hips were weak and injured my knees 🙁 I used calf sleeves which helped my shin splints and calfs, and bought Skins compression pants (a little too late in training) but wore them on race day and believe they helped me get through! I am starting my training for my first half marathon (race May 5, 2013), now I need to repair my knees by realigning my hips!
Thank you for introducing this new brand and technology ~ Katie ~

I have the CRX compression leggings which help me stay supported and warm during those winter runs up and down the hills of Pittsburgh this time of the year. I would love those compression shorts for warmer weather or under my regular leggings when my only pair are dirty.
