It’s day two of Healthy Holidays Giveaway Week and the fitness fun is just beginning!
Today we’re keeping the festivities rolling with a compression shorts giveaway!
Aspaeris Compression Shorts Giveaway
As someone who discovered the benefits of compression gear only a year ago, I fell hard and fast for compression clothing, sleeves and socks.
The Aspaeris Pivot Shorts are my favorite pair of compression shorts – I have them in navy blue and red – and when I reached out to the company about a giveaway, they enthusiastically agreed. Hooray!
They also threw in the added bonus of 25 percent off the compression shorts on their website for PBF readers just in case you don’t win but still want to try their gear. (Just use the code PBFINGERS on the Aspaeris website and you’ll get the discount.)
The Aspaeris Pivot Shorts are actually two shorts in one.
According to the company, the outer short is a high performance compression short designed to support your muscles while the inner short features Dual Sensory Compression Bands™. These cross-knit bands guide your muscles into the proper position, thereby improving your pivot performance which helps prevent ACL and hip injuries.
They’ll keep you nice and snug!
To enter this giveaway, please leave a comment below telling me about your experience (or lack of experience!) with compression gear.
I will randomly select a winner on Thursday morning.
Good luck!
I’ve never worn compression gear before but I’d like to try it out!
I have zero experience with compression gear! But I recently injured my hip and have been out of commission in regards to running so maybe this is something I need when I can return!
I’ve never tried compression gear before. I would love the chance to.
I’ve never tried compression shorts. I’ve been wondering if I would like them for my runs.
I have never tried compression gear, but I am trying to loose the weight I put on after my wedding and have started running. I am a TERRIBLE runner! After a 1/2 mile I think I am dying. However, I have always wanted to be a “runner”. I want to go out and just run and not feel like it’s killing me. I am currently on week five of a 10k training app that I downloaded.
I have heard about compression gear from people who train for 1/2 marathons and full marathons. Doing a 1/2 marathon (after a 10k) is my future goal. I’d love to have the gear to look at when I don’t feel like running and use when I am working on reaching my goal. 🙂
Thank you!
Kirby Shelton
I’ve been wearing compression shorts for what it seems like all my life! It usually was to prevent turf burn, or those nasty burns from gymnasium floors, or just about anything resulting from falling during sports! As of lately they’re also to keep me from flashing everyone in lacrosse games (we wear skirts!). I’ve never thought of the fact that compression shorts really DO help you with injury prevention and muscle stabilization. Would love to try these out!
Looooove the Aspaeris brand of compression shorts!!! I have pairs in black & red and I sleep in them nearly every night. SkinnyRunner’s posts on compression totally turned me on to their wonders and I have been faithful to compression gear ever since.
I have never used compression shorts but would love to use this opportunity to try them out!!
I would love to try this compression gear simply because I have never tried any form of it!
I have never owned any compression gear but I have just recently learned about them and feel they would benefit my workouts greatly!!
I have compression sleeves for my calves for long runs, I really like not getting so sore after longer runs. I have never tried shorts, might have to give them a try.
I hurt my ankle a couple of years ago and my physical therapist suggested wearing compression socks while is slept to help circulation. It actually helped a lot. Now that I’m getting back into running, I’ve pulled out the sock again.
I’ve actually never owned a pair of compression anything, but I know they work wonders and have always wanted to try them!
I have never tried compression clothing because I never really knew what it was for. Now that I know, it seems like something I’d be interested in!
Not gonna lie, I have two pairs of Aspaeris, and would LOVE to win a pair to gift to one of my running friends who has been skeptical on the whole ‘compression’ trend. I swear by them, though. Amazing.
I’ve never tried compression gear but would love to!
In addition to wearing my compression socks during runs, I love them for long flights! I have a magenta pair and they always get a good reaction from TSA when coupled with my neon yellow running shoes 🙂
I don’t own “compression” anything, but would love to give it a try! Especially since I have, in fact, torn my ACL in the past, anything preventative I’ll give a go 🙂
Awesome giveaway! I JUST bought compression socks in October and wore them once for a couple hours. I totally didn’t buy into the compression craze…until yesterday! I wore them knowing my calves would be aching when I woke up in the morning. Shockingly, they weren’t sore at all! I totally credit the socks.
I’ve never tried compression shorts before and definitely never seen double layer shorts like Aspaeris! My hips tend to hurt whenever I run, so the extra support could be just what I need! Love the bright color as well 🙂
I have yet to try compression shorts, but I do have hip issues…maybe these would help!
never tried compression gear, but I would like to!
My only experience is with compression socks, I get a lot of hip pain though so maybe I should try compression shorts next!
I’ve never tried any compression gear before ~ I’d love to try!
I ran my first half marathon in the beginning of November (Disney World Wine and Dine) and tried compression sleeves for the 1st time. Due to the weather i didn’t wear them the whole time but I loved them while i did! I would love to try out compression shorts.
I’ve never tried compression shorts but man could I have used them after my first 5K! I had reconstructive knee surgery a couple years ago so I was pretty nervous about “injuring” my knee again from running such a far distance (atleast for me it is). But to my surprise, my knee felt just fine after! However, my hips were another story. I could barely walk after, it was bad! I think these compression shorts would really help me and would definitely give me some piece of mind before running my next race. 🙂
No experience at all! From your description though I would love to try them!
I have no experience with compression gear – but coming back from a hip injury, these seem like they would be great!
I hve heard of the wonders of compression socks, especially for those who are constantly training but haven’t yet given them a try!! This would be an awesome giveaway, would love to try them out and put them to use!!
I just got my first pair of compression socks within the last couple of months. I do have to say I was skeptical of how they would work, but I absolutely love them!! I now have a pair of compression pants that work great for winter running (I live in Wisconsin) but would love to try shorts when Wedl get our short but sweet summers 😉
Love compression socks and highly recommend for any long flights too!! Would love to try the shorts and the inner and outer layers on the shorts def intrigue me!
Never used compression gear but did wear spandex all through junior high and high school while playing volleyball and loved it 🙂
I’ve never tried compression gear before, I have this weird thinking that it will be tighter than spandex and just “compress” me, ha I don’t know why…but I have heard multiple people say it’s one of the best things for running and since I tore some ligaments in my knee back in high school, maybe it would help support that better with my running now.
I have worn Under Armour compression shorts for triathlons because I can transition from the water to bike without having to change. They keep everything so snug that I feel extra strong in the quads. This is the only brand I’ve ever tried but I would love to see another brands performance!
I’ve never tried compression gear but keep hearing great things about it. I’d love to try a pair!
I have never worn compression shorts but I am always looking for a comfy new pair of shorts for running, there is something that is slightly motivational about having new gear to run in that makes my morning runs before classes much more enjoyable!
I like compression gear because it provides more coverage when I’m working out. Also I like the shorts because I am able to keep extra tennis balls in the shorts while playing tennis.
Ive only tried compression socks. I would love to try the shorts to see If it helps my performance!
I’ve run for years but never tried any compression – maybe it’ll help ?!?!
I always wear compression socks after long runs, but never gave much consideration to the shorts. I just found out that I have a third stress fracture from running, and hip stretching and strengthening were recommended. Maybe these will help keep me injury free?
I’ve never tried compression shorts/gear before, but I’ve always wanted to try them. I feel it could help with some “jiggliness” when running.
I just discovered compression a couple months ago. I love my compression socks! I have been wanting to try out shorts or pants.
I’ve never tried compression gear, but think it would be a great idea! I ran my first half marathon this spring and had an awful time with my left hip. I tried stretches everyday, but it only helped a little. I wonder if these could help keep me aligned!!
Never worn compression, but here’s hoping I get the chance to experience!
i love compression gear i find that it helps cut my recovery time when I’m super soar (i.e. my zensah compression socks which i know you love too!) . Also! I love wearing compression gear on long flights…keeps everything circulating!
I wear compression gear every time I play basketball and almost every time I run! They are so comfortable!
I’ve never tried compression shorts before, but have been hearing a lot about them!
i’ve never used compression gear – but i know a lot of runners that do.
I almost always wear compression shorts to work out in but i normally just wear some basic nike compression shorts… these are way fancier!
As a newer runner, I’ve never tried them but I would definitely like to give them a try!
