It’s Deuce Bigalow – a classic, obviously. 😉
My lunch today was quite fishy!
I prepared tuna salad using light Miracle Whip, mustard and relish.
I am trying to make it through Wednesday without going to the grocery store since I’ll be heading home for Christmas Wednesday night. Throughout the week my meals will be made of food I have on hand. I actually enjoy these little self-challenges!
Along with my tuna salad, I ate tasty lavash chips.
I cut up a Joseph’s lavash bread into chips, sprayed them lightly with cooking spray and sprinkled them with salt before baking them until they were crispy.
This lunch was waaay more filling than I anticipated! Phew.
Stinky Foods
I seem to really enjoy stinky foods. I love tuna, hard-boiled eggs and basically anything with garlic. To avoid office hatred, I always prepare my smelly meals outside of my workspace so people do not have to smell the stank all day long.
During my first week at my current job, I made the mistake of bringing egg salad to work and opening the container at my desk. The place stunk to high heaven! Great first impression, huh?
What’s the stinkiest food you absolutely love?

Love Deuce Bigelow! lol.
April, my husband says the same thing. hehe
My fave would have to be tuna, or tofu noodles. They stink until you rinse them.

I am going to go with Tuna…love it but sheesh it does stink! My old college roommate used to LOVE to make sausage and sauerkraut…wow…I am going to say that sauerkraut has GOT to be the worst smelling food ever! I will even admit that I have never tasted it because I can not get over the smell.

The stinkiest food I know that some people love is “tinkin’ toe”, a kind of fruit in the Caribbean. I live in the Caribbean. “Tinking toe” is a small fruit that grows off certain trees. It’s a small fruit, so I would say it’s a snack fruit, but a lot of people really like it. I have tried it and it is very tart and gives your mouth a kind of funny feeling. But it tastes ok, being from Canada, it’s new to me, but I think it’s an acquired taste. my mother-a native of the island- really likes it.
It’s called “tinking toe” because on the island that I am referring to Antigua & Barbuda, (the local dialect language commonly spoken as well as standard English, does not pronounce the “s” in many words. So Stinking Toe is actually pronounced “Tinking Toe.”) Anyhow either way you say it people love it and supposedly it’s good for you and I can testify that it literally smells like a stinking toe.

It’s gotta be cheese, although I really hate strong smelling fish.
