Owning a home for the very first time unleashed my love for decorating. Iām by no means a fantastic interior designer but I really do enjoy shopping around and finding fun things to incorporate into our new home to give it the comfortable, welcoming vibe Ryan and I hoped to achieve.
Our latest undertaking has been our babyās nursery! Between painting the room, assembling furniture, picking out bedding and selecting fun prints to hang on the walls, weāve been working away and having a blast. The nursery is almost done!
Once we hang pictures and play around with the furniture layout, Iāll be sure to share a sneak peek into our babyās space with you guys, but for now, hereās a little behind-the-scenes look into our progress:
Earlier this month, I received and email from Interior Define, a company that offers customizable furniture and beautiful throw pillows at affordable prices, offering me the chance to host a $1,000 giveaway to their website on my blog. A $1,000 giveaway is a hard thing to turn down since I know it will go a long way for one winner and I hope one of you out there who is in the market for a new chair, loveseat or couch will find something you absolutely love on their site! (You can see some of my hand-selected personal favorite items from their site here.)
Interior Define let me select a throw pillow off their website along with a handful of fabric swatches (<ā always complimentary on their site!) that appealed to me to give me a feel for the quality and durability of their fabrics. Ryan and I actually had to send back a chair we ordered online for in our living room because the color didnāt look anything like it did in the pictures of the chair online, so the fact that Interior Define offers free fabric swatches to anyone is pretty awesome, especially if youāre a little timid about ordering furniture online.
The pillow I selected was the Wide Stripe Accent Pillow, which I chose because I thought it would make a great addition to our babyās room and add a little pop of blue to our mostly-neutral nursery.
The pillow fabric is made of a combination of cotton and flax yarn-dyed dobby cloth with 100 percent organic cotton backing and I love the way the blue color popped against the frilly white bedding I chose for the twin bed in the nursery. Since the bedding I picked for the room is admittedly rather feminine, I am a big fan of the way the pillow adds an element of masculinity while still maintaining the comfortable, calming vibe of the space.
So now about that giveawayā¦
Interior Define $1,000 Giveaway
One PBF reader will win $1,000 to Interior Define! Yes, $1,000! This is, without a doubt, one of the most valuable giveaways Iāve ever had the honor of hosting and Iām thrilled to offer it to you guys today!
So, how does Interior Define work? Hereās a simplified breakdown:
-
Interior Define offers customized furniture at an affordable price point (generally 30-40% less than comparable retailers) by maintaining an online presence that cuts out retail markups and follows a made-to-order service model
-
Customers can customize the size, configuration, material, cushion fill, and legs on almost every piece of furniture to fit design needs and preferences
-
Most pieces are available in 40-60 fabric options, and Interior Define offers complimentary swatches
-
Custom options are available online, and additional options are available through the companyās customer concierges over the phone or in person at their flagship store in Chicago
Basically if you see something you like on the Interior Define website but want to tweak it in some way to make it perfectly suit your design needs, they can do that for you! Sweet, right!?
And before you commit to buying a chair or couch from their website, donāt forget that you can request one (or several) of their complimentary swatches to ensure the color and feel of the fabric youāre selecting will work perfectly in your home.
(Can you tell I love neutrals any anything in the sea foam green/blue family right now?)
To enter this giveaway, visit Interior Define, join their email list and pick out your favorite product on their site. Comment below on this blog post with the link to the piece youād buy with the credit if you won! A winner will be chosen randomly next Friday!

The Kelley couch with left chaise would be perfect in our living room. We bought our first home this year and with some remodeling we did immediately, new furniture, though needed, has been low on the priority list.

I LOVE the Ainsley in stone. I’m moving next month and getting rid of the couch I’ve had since college, so I’m definitely in need of a new one! Plus, this sofa matches a chair my grandfather left me (one of my favorite things I own). It’s so hard to find fabric that matches it!
