Joy, Relief and Gratitude

August 23, 2016 by Julie 159 Comments

I am crying tears of joy, relief and extreme gratitude.

The results from Chase’s follow up blood work came in this morning and they were exactly what we were hoping for – He is fine. He will be fine. We will do some follow up testing in November to continue to monitor our brave baby boy but I know in my heart he will be fine. I am so grateful.

Chase 10 Months Old

Thank YOU for your kindness, your thoughts and your prayers. They worked and I cannot stop the tears. Thank you from the very bottom of my heart. I felt your love and it touched me more than you can possibly know.

Be sure to follow PBFingers on Instagram and Facebook!

I'd love to connect with you! I am always so grateful when you let me know you tried one of my recipes or workouts and tag me in your photos or updates. Thank you so much!!!

Such happy news! I’ve been reading your blog for about 5 years and this news put a smile on my face 🙂 I’m expecting my first baby (a boy!) in approx 5 weeks. What a rough weekend you must have endured waiting on the news. My heart goes out to you!

I’m not a mom but I can only imagine the anxiety that waiting on news like this could cause. Me? Okay. But when it’s your child, it’s different. I am so happy to hear that everything looks fine with Chase’s test results and hope you can breathe easily again. I feel like no one ever talks about just how SCARY it is to have a kid!

Again, so happy to hear this. One thing I was thinking about yesterday — when I’m nervous about something health-related, I find comfort in the knowledge that, by definition, the common/benign thing is more likely to be the case than the rare/scary thing. I’m so glad that was the case with your sweet boy.
