Hello from Atlanta!!!
At around 12:30 p.m., my family and I boarded our first flight from Tampa to Atlanta where we are now stationed for the next hour as we await our flight to Italy!
My sister and I started our travels by swiping licks from personal Nutella packets.
This stuff is like crack in a packet… not that I know what crack in a packet would taste like, but it is highly addictive.
We spent this flight reading all about Rome and going through a guidebook on Rome and the comments you guys left on my blog that I printed out to brainstorm possible itineraries during our trip.
Our next flight from Atlanta to Italy will hopefully be spent sleeping. We’ve come prepared with eye masks!
I think my mask looks like some kind of a face bra.
Though I made sure to snack on peanuts (four servings… my serving and my sister’s), I was still pretty hungry when we landed. Luckily the tummies of my family were also grumbling, and we headed toward a food court in the airport to pick up some grub.
I selected the large Greek salad from Nature’s Table with raspberry vinaigrette dressing.
This salad was full of feta cheese and black olives which made me very happy. It was so, so fresh and hit the spot! I was a happy camper.
Only 45 minutes until we’re flyin’ high to Europe!!!
See ya from overseas!
Love the sleep mask! ha! so fun!
Hope you and you family have a great and safe flight!!!!
That nutella pack is so cute! I love little packs-to-go like that, almond butter, peanut butter…mm 🙂
I hope you were able to sleep on the flight, I get so bored if I don’t!
I bet the nutella packets taste better than crack in a packet would 😉 haha
have fun! and that is quite a funny eye mask! how long is the flight?
I went to Ireland and I think the flight was 12ish hours
I had no idea the Atlanta airport has free wifi! Woo! Good to know! 🙂 I love your pink eye mask!
Face mask = hilarious!!! Have SO much fun 🙂 Can’t wait to hear all about it!

Those Nutella packets look so good! And so dangerous! Have fun in Europe– so jealous, girl!
Have the BEST time!!! You’re going to love Italy!
Nutella is the best thing ever! A lot of times I put it on a bagel thin and slice a banana and put it on also! It is a very good bagelwich 🙂
Nutella is the jam…no wait sorry, it’s better than jam! Try nutella+pb together- heaven!
LOVE Nutella! You’ll find a lot in Europe!
PS I just did the math it’s 8:00 in the morning there! 😀
Drink some coffee and have lots of fun!
The face bra made me laugh 🙂 HAVE FUN!!
I’m in Rome right now!!! Crazy. There is SO much to do here and the weather is beautiful! Hope you and your family have a great time:)
Ha!!!! It does look like a face bra!
Hope you had a safe flight and have an amazing vacation 🙂
Wow what a good find as far as airport food goes. The last time I travelled I ended up eating quiznos. Now I associate quiznos with bloaty-travelness
baahaha I didn’t see that those were pink flowers on the tables…I’m like what the heck are those girls wearing in their hair?! Have a great time!!!
Those Nutella packets are so cute! I hope you are having a great time in Europe! 🙂
I literally laughed out loud about your “face bra” and then i looked at the picture again and it really looks like some sort of face bra! SOOO funny
They LOVE nutella in Italy!!
have a safe and fun vacation!
That totally does look like a face bra, how funny! 😉
The next time I’m going on an airplane I totally have to remember to pack my own food! Trying to find any good vegetarian/healthy food the last time I went was awful at the airport! Now that I have to be gluten-free too, it’ll be darn near impossible.
LOL! “face-bra” …that should definitely go up on the fashion page!
Good day! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from an established blog.
Is it hard to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I’m thinking about creating my own but
I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Cheers
